Such an awesome feature. I love the fact that you can just leave one key fob right in the truck and lock and unlock your tuck right from the key pad. Also nice to leave it running on cold winter days . keep the videos coming. :)
Hi, yes it's plug and play. It plugs into the single cargo light on the side. If I hadn't damaged the wire getting it through the long grommet (my fault) it would have been super easy and fast

Fantastic Step-By-Step. Thank you!! I had mine installed and working in 30 minutes. True plug and play. NOTE- when tucking the module into that space, don't push it all the way in. There are little plastic nipples that will hold it from coming back out and it's a bugger to get them to clear.

Have you had any issue with it killing the battery? I would like to install this in my wife’s 24 but I’m seeing quite a few reviews saying it doesn’t always work and that it kills the battery
Looks great! Just bought an 2020 XSE and looking for some upgrades! About how much did you spend on all these mods if you dont mind me asking. Also which mods do you belueve were the best mods you've done, based on time and cost.
We spent a bunch on the roof wrap, just to make it look cool. That was purely the intent, to make it look higher end. The mods that had the most impact were probably the LED lighting bulb swaps. Changing to LED is a game changer at night for safety 💯. But overall, I don't think there were many things we upgraded that we didn't like after years of having the RAV. We spent a while researching what wheels they were with no luck. They were part of the blackout appearance package we ordered from Toyota when we bought the RAV4 at the dealership.
Excellent video! Clear and precise instructions from start to finish. Took an hour to complete, if I did it a second time probably abot 30 minutes. Start-X should pay this man. Can't say enough, PERFECT!
They're doing great, we'll actually be doing a few update videos in the next few days. But, after 3 years, they're actually one of our favorites and look as good as the day we installed them
I dug around as much as I could, didn't find anything online specifically saying to reprogram it. But, knowing that even getting the programming sequence wrong (pressing, holding, installing wires) will make you start the sequence over again, it probably just needs to go back through the process.
I literally took my computer to my 2024 4runner and installed this exactly like you did. I could have figured it out in time, but you definitely saved me a bunch of time and headache. Well done! Thank-you
My niche question is. I have an LED day time running lights in my car already but the turn signal is halogen and it turns on- on a different place from the day time running lights. I would like to keep the daytime running lights that’s already in the car however, I’d like to have an LED turn signal that replaces the day time running lights when u turn it on. Most new cars have that now. How would u do it?
Great video. I have a watch it several times already as a morale booster before tackling this project.I have just the vertical accent lights similar to the XSEs. My RAV4 is 2022. I’ll just set them up in a way their always on when the vehicle is on. Similar to the raptor lights. The yellow wire to the signal light. The black and white wires. Is Black on the negative and white the positive? Appreciate your input. Thanks
