I just put mine on..... Never need a plastic bag or talc. The magic secret? Go to a shop with loads of makes, styles, types, and thicknesses and try loads on. It will take all day but you will find one you can get in alone with no bags or talc.....goddamn
Should I wear a bikini or swimsuit under my wetsuit? Which is most comfortable, also what type of bikini? I have one which ties in a knot in the back would that be uncomfortable?
Some helpful tips for getting the suit on, especially pulling the inside of the suit whenever possible rather than the outside skin. But I am curious why you discourage the plastic bag method? Plastic bag on the feet and hands seems to work just great for me, and I can't imagine how it's bad for the suit... what's the problem?
Wow insane way of putting on wetsuit.....Baby powder and friend helping you = getting laughed out of lineup. How to put on wetsuit, Simply flip wetsuit legs inside , place feet inside & work suit up legs , Same for arms.
I have a few suggestions that are WAYYYYY easier than this method. I've been wearing a full hooded 5/4 suit to work for several weeks now and believe I have mastered the routine. Under your suit you should wear a layer often called a "dive skin". But it doesn't have to be made from lycra. My base layer is a top and bottom of summer time under armor. It's made of polyester and elastane. The thick 5mm wetsuit slips and slides over the surface of that base layer with no problems. More importantly it aides in removing the suit. I can don my suit in a fraction of the time this baby powder method takes and I don't need a partner to help me. And no pulling or tugging is needed. And I'm using a full hooded suit with chest zip which is a bit more difficult than the back zippered suit.
