I was recently given some fly fishing gear by a friend who's husband died. I've been course fishing most of my life but never fly fishing. Unfortunately, there's bugger all places to fly fish in Suffolk. Might be a few within striking distance but it ain't cheap. I'd Love to find some free stretches of river to have a go on. I think I've sussed out how to cast after given the tip of moving the rod between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. Great vids Lee... I still treasure our times working together albeit for unscrupulous employers !
What a brilliant video from start to finish, as someone who doesn't like heights massive respect to you, the feeling of the conditions and the experience you all had really came across in this video.
Very cool, and very sketchy Lee. Good on you all to make the climb. Maybe the weather will be more favorable the next time around, and you can bring the pup. 😜 Sweet edit…the tracking on the call-out at the pinnacle was great, as well as the map work. Excellent production! The end seemed abrupt as I was all in. Your English is really coming along nicely. 😉 100% pal! I enjoyed your adventure.
Very cool little spot! Was it easy to get the cows to lay still for you? :P It appeared to be staged perfectly...that must've been a welcome treat. The upper level looks lovely. Shame about the cloud cover, but the colorful leaves were still popping. Nice one, Lee!
Just a small taster and very very lucky with the weather. It rained for an age either side of this day. If you click the link in the descriptions you can view the interior photos I captured. 👍🏻
This edit came out awesome! I love how you slipped in all my favorite effects. Really sweet edit...zooms, rotations, dirt, scratches...ripper of a vid! Super great promotional piece for the studio.
Thanks Nate. They were great to work with. Bar the overlay, everything was created in DR and key framed or adjusted in Fusion. I love the POV mode on the gimbal and don’t use it often enough.
@@VentusMedia Kudos to you for knocking this out in Fusion. I don’t get into it as much as I wish but do follow along with some tutorials. It really came out awesome! 🍻
Really, really nice, Lee! Looked like a lot of work in the chair, but the final product came out great. Nice touch with the horse's neigh. ;) Good of the Director to leave in some clips of the VW. :P Excellent work!
Fantastic work Lee! The fam looks good. How did you run out of video for this lovely Jessie Villa song!? :P Lovely edit! It looked like the sky gave you a bit of extra time in the chair. ;) Very enjoyable film. Great audio adds! Cheers, mate!
Thank you mate. I knew you'd love the JV lol. Wind was horrific every flight and warned to land every time. Genuinely scared for my bird! I see you have vids up - I'll watch them as soon as i finish this boring edit. Missed your stuff :)
@@VentusMedia Hiya Lee! The VW was looking good too. The on screen display turned out really nice as well. Looked like a lovely holiday. No worries about my vids. Skip the Guinea Pig one…I put time into the edit, but I didn’t notify subscribers. 😉
Hi, best beaches are Tolsta and Bosta on Lewis and Scarista and Luskentyre on Harris. Be sure to drive the Golden road from Tarbert to Leverburgh where St Clements Church is nearby to. Also take a trip to Ardroil beach at Uig Sands and visit the Mangarstadh Sea Stacks too. So much to do and you'll discover it as you go. This is very useful - www.visitouterhebrides.co.uk/dbimgs/1789_Campervan%20leaflet_V3_SCREEN.pdf
Thank you . I went for a desat O and T with some overlays. Really frustrated at the wind which ruined a lot of footage and now wish I’d taken my Sony. Ah well. Another time 👍🏻
A wonderful experience at the Howard Arms! Andrew and Ruth are Amazing hosts!! So welcoming and friendly. The staff are equally fantastic! Special mention to Jack!!! We visited and ate here, and then we followed it up with a weekend stay. 5* from us! The ambiance is fab, the food is fantastic, and the welcome so warm. Arrive as a stranger, leave as a friend! 100% recommend The Howard Arms
Is it dog friendly? Kidding! Ace edit considering the colours of the Ukraine flag were in plain view, and that rubbish is only a few weeks old. The food looks lovely, and who doesn't like live music in a cozy setting, a cold pint from the tap, and a room upstairs!? The DResolve light rays (or similar) add at ~1:26 were a nice touch. I wish I lived closer. ;) If you weren't rushed for time, this vid would've been better with more commentary from the owners. For me, you set the bar at Farm Life. 100% on the footage and edit. A pleasure to watch and enjoy, Lee.
Thanks mate. The whole thing was produced and edited in 3 days. The length is prohibitive as the Hotel is up for a BII award (pub Oscars) so too long is a no no. Quite funny how you picked a genuine light leak as an add on when there were three screen overlays added elsewhere. Just goes to show we can all be fooled :)
@@VentusMedia Hiya Lee! I obviously have to up my game. 😉 Ahhh… Nice work with the 3 day turn-around. I have zero knowledge about any BII award…idiot westerner I figure. 😉
Nice work Lee! When the notification came in, I didn't know what to expect from luxury glamping, hot tubs, and pets. Haha! I thought it might be a little clickbait title. Looks like a great place to chill out. On 1st watch, I thought you might've added the fire behind the lettering, but then noticed it was a proper firepit. I can't believe you left the toilet seat up! :P Nicely done!
Lovely production Lee! The song is super catchy. Great edit and things all looked lovely in your back garden. :P Good of you to have the bollocks for the fly-through. 100% mate!
Thank you Nate. This was a while back and man i miss that Sigma 16mm f1.4 but it was just too bloody heavy lol. I tried a fly through of a observation tower this week and crashed. M2P dropped 25ft and landed unharmed. So frickin' lucky...
@@VentusMedia Ha! I saw those flies chilling in the sunlight! I thought I was watching a National Geographic special on insect mating. 😂 Sorry about the crash mate. I haven’t bothered to be daring with fly-through lately. 🤷🏻Haven’t actually flown it in nearly 2 months. 😳
100% Lee! Congrats to the young couple...they'll have this beaut to enjoy for the rest of their lives. Fantastic footage and edit. Nicely done. 2nd background audio track appeared to feature Jessie Villa, but no mention of her on Soundstripe and a google search didn't come up with anything. I've been favouring her lately. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@VentusMedia I did find Kev, but there was no mention of Jessie Villa. No biggie…was just curious. I’ve found her dipping in and out of other artists on SStripe. I used her in my most recent, and my next 2 I believe. 🤷🏻
I put some fresh eyes on this for a 2nd go…with quality work, the 2nd go is mandatory IMHO (I know you like the abbreviations 😉)… I’ll just a novice mate…finding my way through the galaxy to find Alderaan…😜 The song is Never Pull Back. I think zooming in (instead of out) in many of the clips would’ve pulled at heart strings a bit more. It might encode a different vibe. Just a suggestion mate…and probably rubbish, but as long as it gets you thinking, job done. 😉 2nd go was excellent! 🙌🏼
