It just dawned on me that this episodes core monster is a lot like Stephen Kings IT (which wasn't the first to do the whole, emotional vampire, fear eating story, that's been around for a long time). IT's final move is to get into the mind of the victim, show them their deepest fears and place them in an almost paralyzing level of terror, then feeds on the flesh to raise that even higher while having the real feast - pure unbridled negative energy from the fear created in the victim.
In this context Barney means fight. Its a northern thing. It's not Cockney rhyming slang here.... Lister is a Scouse.... The natural enemy of the Cockney.
This pop version of Amazed is called the "Captain Mix", which helped the band reach number one on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot Country Songs charts. For some reason, I saw a page on Discogs about Lonestar's follow-up single "Smile" (www.discogs.com/Lonestar-Smile/master/912854), saying that there's also a Captain Mix of that song, clocking in at 3:51. Does anyone know about this version? Can someone upload that version to RU-vid?
This version is no way better then the original which is country. This was only done so it could be used on UK and international versions of the single and on the studio album as they did it with many country songs. They should have just released it as a normal country song and not remixed it. poor version
This was a pop radio mix. The record company realized they had a potential cross over hot and as a result they remixed the song for pop/AC/Hot Ac radio. It is not the same as the album mix
