Damn, its a total opposite of what i had with saph/steel. I was focused more on the bodyguards to take the hit while having Anna do the job of lore hunting. Problem was that it was too weak to challenge and by the time i have a board ready, my opponent is already close to winning. Im going to try this out. Been waiting for a deck update since it came out!

Yes! I used an aggro Ruby / Amethyst for Ursula’s Return and went 7/1 and 6/2 at two tournaments. Maybe switching to Amber / Amethyst Aggro with Daisy!
Oh man, you guys took me on memory road! The first chapter was my introduction to the game, Rise of the Floodborn pre-release event I met Chris Oyola, yes the same dude who got 3rd at the Fort Worth Challenge, Into the Inklands was the first time I came in 1st place at a release event, Ursula's Return...... not much but hey 3 out of 4 release events was awesome!
Emerald steel has made its way up there… but I’m interested to see if Steel Song makes it back after Shimmering Skies really increased the power of Amber. What do you think?
It is possible to make some other iterations with this starter deck that focus mostly on heroes. Working around Aladdin and the new shift Aladdin, the auroras and Aurora dreaming guardian, Mickey Mouse detective, Anna braving the storm and Anna true hearted, Philoctetes and Hercules with adding other Hercules in as well. You still will probably be removing 30-40 cards going this route, but as far as this iteration, Alex was trying to make it competitive as possible. Thanks for watching!
Nice video, exactly the type that I as novice Lorcana player need! However, do not mask the card descriptions with prices since at least I do not know all of them by heart.
Thank you for such a good breakdown, very helpful for a beginner trying to develop on the core of these 2 decks! However, with set 4 now widely available, what would be your new recommendations for each of the lists?

@@rbrox0111 For Dogged and Dynamic we really like the new Pegasus Gift for Hercules and Pegasus Cloud Racer Also more bodyguard like Prince Eric Seafaring Prince and Donald Duck Musketeer Soldier would be great for the deck If you’re not on budget, then Diablo Devoted Herald would be a no brainer For Plenty of Pluck, we would recommend Goofy Super Goof, Brawl and Milan Elite archer with Mulan Injured Soldier for her shift option, and without budget, go Sisu emboldened Warrior with her Floodborn Sisu Empowered Sibling. Also just depending on your uninkables, you could go be king undisputed as well! Hope this helps!
@@rbrox0111for dogged and dynamic, we would remove Don Carnage, Noni, Lukcy, Pongo, and Tinkerbell. For the other one, the level 3 Maui, the level 4 Moana and from their it gets harder to remove since it’s built pretty much for reckless. You could remove the location theme, but I feel like that does a disservice to the starter decks theme… so maybe the Sumerian talismans or even dragon fire.
Without playtesting it, I would say running about 2-3 Jim Hawkins would be good. Look to cut Sumerian Talisman or your 3 ink cost Maui to make room. Thanks for watching! Hope this helps!

Your not far off! Haha We had to record away from our usual spot… which is very echoey sadly. So two or three of our videos are not going to have the best audio, but we are back to our normal room now! So should be back to normal soon!
Honestly we think he is just a little slower, and believe he doesn’t usually fit the emerald mold that they usually go for. But that’s just our opinion and we are willing to learn!
@TacticalInk It's not the easiest line, but it's possible. T1 Queen, T2 Pete. T3 Shift Queen -> Quest Queen -> Quest Pete -> Bounce Diablo. The main problem is the 3 Willpower of both Pete and The Queen. Turn 4 you could do it all again and then spend 3 Ink for Bibbidi Bobbid Boo, bringing in Maximus to protect Pete with Boduguard, then play the 1 drop Queen again for shift the next turn. Maximus can also set Pete up with Support if the -4 Strength from The Queen isn't necessary.
@@TacticalInk Viscious Betrayal can do it. Hidden Cove opens up all sorts of options in conjuction with Support characters, or even cards like Megara (Pulling the Strings) and Panic (Underworld Imp). The late game Pete (Bad Guy) can take advantage of these as well. Outside of Amber/Emerald, the option I wanna playtest the most is Training Grounds. Ruby has a lot of options like Maui's Fish Hook, He's Got a Sword (with Cove), Medallion Weights (with Cove).

@USAssm I apologize! Yes in our opinion, we would add 4 copies of Ursula and 3 copies of Mother Knows Best… removing 2 Don Karnage, 2 Nani, 2 Tinker Bell and 1 Patch. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately i couldn't focus on what was being said because of the music. If you can't work out how to drop the music to half the volume, is skip the music next time. For what it's worth there are completely free programs for video and audio editing. Good luck!

@ericdesormeaux974 we tried them around 10 times each on pixelborn at gold rank. We wanted to get 50% or better win percentage out of that before we were satisfied. Into the Inklands starter decks is gonna be very interesting! It will release in a few weeks so be on the lookout!

"Instant" mechanic in any form would be nice. Doing some in the opponents turn could be huge Gamechanger... Sideboarding are important in my opinion. Having the opportunity to get a better match Up against a Deck that you have low winrates, makes it less frustrating
All for the PIXAR add. For me, PIXAR is synonymous with Disney. Definitely against the Marvel and Star Wars adds. Plenty of other games leverage those IPs and it would spoil the flavor for me.
We got the one (Emerald) John Silver in Set 1 and then nothing else until Set 3. So I'm sure there will be more Wreck It Ralph coming in Set 4 or 5. There is also Geppetto from Pinocchio, additional Blue Fairies. We have the mice from Cinderella. White Rabbit and the King, The Black cards all from Alice in Wonderland. There are a ton more, "furniture" characters from Beauty and the Beast that haven't appeared yet. Biggest absence in my opinion so far is Ms. Potts We only got one of the 3 Hyena from Lion King, plus we haven't seen Simba's mom (Sarabi) Movies not in the game yet: Lady and Tramp, Fox and the Hound are two I really want to see.
