A little bit about myself. I love music and when it comes to mixing my specialty is House music (Deep House, Progressive House ,Tech House) and Trance. Started as a hobby in my bedroom and slowly now getting gigs here and there. My next goal is to learn how to play the piano and also get into music production.
Something that has also been a big part of me are cars. I own a 1993 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo which was the reason I started this channel.
This channel really does not have a purpose. It's not a car channel, it's not a music channel, I simply like sharing content that I think I find interesting throughout my life.
I noticed the weirdest thing when i took the timing covers off mine. So neither of my chains ended up breaking but the links were a few off from the alignment marks on both chains and the old lower chain only had 1 marked link. It's possible that the chain jumped a few links but all the sprocket marks looked lined up somehow like in your video. How is that possible?
At first i boosted my NA engine. Then after that i decided to build the bottom end with forged internals. I went ahead and got 10.5:1 for my Wiseco pistons to maintain the high compression setup
300zx's are freakin amazing. The power a 300zx can produce, up against cars costing 3-6x's more is amazing. The 300zx is limitless as to what it can do without supercar manufacturers restrictions like Ferrari, Lambo's and others. Dare i say that a well built 300zx can keep up with all of them at a fraction of the cost and in some cases LOOK just as good if not better. I LOVE the 300zx (Z32) and all it's historical glory. What a timeless beautiful car.
I submitted this mix on December 3, 2023 and as part of the submission requirements the video had to be on private. Today February 1st they chose the 5 finalist so i thought to make the video public. I recorded the video in my own bedroom with my own personal gear which i have busted my ass for. Yes. I have booked this exact room style twice now. Last year on Apr 2023 and also Sept 2021. Highly recommend it. I always request a high floor room when checking in.
Did you have to replace the plastic OEM door lock actuators? My 92 Z32 neither of the door locks work when I use the key outside. The guy who I bought it from would lock it from inside then climb back in through the hatch.
When you say if the chain was not broken what do you mean? I had the upper chain snap, but I took the head to get machined and replace the valves. After the install I had everything set and it looked good. After not getting it to start properly, I removed the valve cover and saw the timing lines had jumped a bit and the chain seems to shake after every rotation. Wondering if I just got a bad chain or tensioner.
