@@theplantninja-texasgardener well thanks for that. I am just fed up with trying to create a video where I’m honestly not being my true self. I’m pretty laid back and trying to be bubbly just feels weird. Sooooo…I’m glad you liked the video. This one feels more like me 🤓
Are the spider looking bugs at the beginning the ones who are plaguing your opuntia? I have perpetual scale issues on mine. On my channel I have videos of feeding the scale insects from individual pads to my guppies but that would require disassembling your plant. Insecticidal soap will not cover everything where the bugs are but it's a good start, I'd start with a hose with a trigger sprayer to physically move them off
Yes, the cactus bugs are the ones on the cactus. The weather is cooler today and I dont see as many. This cactus is over 15 years old so im tryting not do anything to harm it. I did use a hose to knock them off. Hopefully I can at lest get them down to a manageable state. I'll check out your videos 👍🏼
Those rocks they call gravel definitely do get in the way. Here, there’s also this weed that I have not identified that is really tough (and herbicide resistant, as well), but when used regularly, this tool does work well. Also saves your weed whacker line, so you don’t have to keep respooling it (which is very annoying). Unfortunately, you do need to sacrifice a lot of line when it gets this bad.
Thankfully this is not my yard but a friends yard and it’s a rental. Just trying to help out and get the yard looking decent. If I had this tool at my own yard it would work just fine 👍
I love your creative style and the cool pots. I have a Starfish Sansevieria that I have to pot up. This has inspired me to look for a cool container to put them in. New sub! Love your greenhouse and Staghorn plant. I have two but need to put them in a better holder.
I always wondered how those worked. Well worth having one for weekly maintenance. It would be a lot easier than having to string trim it every time. Several years ago I bought a walk behind edger. It worked magnificently for about two years, then the pull string broke. It’s an easy fix, we have since moved and I don’t have near as much edging to do as I used to, so it’s kind of just sitting in the garage.
I'm going to do another video using it as a maintenance tool. Also a video with a better angle 🫤 I think its a great maintenance tool but you need to have established edges to start. I use a weed eater at home to get a straight edge I just didnt have one in Nashville. It was a fun experiment anyway. Thanks for watching!
WAtch the full video. I made a salsa that was absolutly amazing 👍🏼 Garden Fressh Salsa | Garden To Table ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WZ40FSqXtic.html
