I be forgetting that KAT is still 28, I hope the Wolves can find a way to keep him. Having a youthful and now more experienced core of Ant, KAT, Naz, and J Mac with Rob D and TSJ is a roster most teams would kill to have
Tous ces classements sont inutiles, ils ne servent qu'à faire de la publicité à ceux qui les font, c'est comme les notes des jeux vidéos. Bref, je m'en fous. Allez les Wolves.
Luka & Kyrie Tatum & Brown LeBron & AD KD & Booker Giannis & Lillard Jokic & Murray Embiid & Maxey/PG There are some others that can be debated such as Fox & Sabonis Butler & Adebayo Morant & Jackson jr Zion & Ingram(healthy ofcourse)
Jokic and Murray are the best duo. Period. And you all know it. They actually play a two man game. You’re just talking about having two talented players on a team

No. That’s the answer. Waste of time podcast. Your ass is ours this year. Hope you enjoyed your own private NBA championship beating a tired nuggets team…in round 2.
Karl Anthony Towns is untrustworthy. Towns low basketball IQ decision-making and his older injury prone body make him a liability again this season. Towns is unplayable in over 40% of his postseason games; a postseason liability. Towns is not suited for a team aspiring to reach the WCFs. Towns is best suited for a bad team free of any pressures to win games who may squeeze into the play-in tournament.
@@TC-uj6jcwhat games are you watching? Did you not see the WCF's? How about when Towns TOOK 4 shots (not MADE) two years ago? When asked about it, he said "Next question."
@@TC-uj6jc that game? I'm sorry but, Karl "SuperMax" Towns has had quite a lot of games like that. If you are talking about the WCF's, he played like crap in all 5 ganes
They need to sit Go ert down and ask him if he's really serious about winning here and if he is to start playing with more passion and intensity. Yes he won DPOY but
Encore un qui ne regarde pas l'efficacité globale d'un joueur son impact réel sur les performances d'une équipe. L'ignorance et la bêtise ont de beaux jours devant eux.
Ben, it's not about Edwards and Towns anymore, it's about Edwards, Towns, Dillingham, Reid, McDaniels, Conley, NAW and Shannon Jr. who are ALL ELITE and minimizing Gobert's liability on offense when he is in the game as he obviously clogs the paint despite the defensive prowess he brings to the team in certain aspects defensively..... With up and coming talent in Jalen Clark, Josh Minott, Leonard Miller, Luka Garza, Jaedon LeDee, Daeshon Nix, Jesse Edwards (who looked awesome in summer league and looked like he should have been picked) Skylar Mays, Eugene Omoruyi, Trevor Keels and newly added veteran support in Joe Ingles, they are all elite, and it's Edwards' team ultimately.... We're going to be f****** unstoppable, Ben... We will not be beat, forget about the Edwards/Towns duo this team is an Octet.... And then, frankly, I have always felt like you have slightly underestimated Anthony Edwards, Ben..he should be within the top 9, not at number 10....
I just gotta say, if Glen the 🐍 Taylor remains owner.. I will have to consciously stop supporting them. I will not support him or his family. Garnet will not retire his jersey..as he shouldn't. Also, Alex should not have posted that his next goal was to retire KG's jerseys. When I read that, I thought about Glen the 🐍 Taylor. It was not smart on his behalf.. Thank you for your consistent coverage, Ben.
With all do respect, i think you are underestimating experience.. vs a rookie who played on the bench in college. Every year, the NBA gets new rookies. So.. just look at tape.
This rendition of the Timberwolves is single-handedly the most talented roster in NBA history, this team will go down as the most talented team in NBA history!!
Ben, I would respectfully push back gently on your recitation of Dillingham being undersized.. Dillingham was a five-star recruit in two out of the three publications, he is an elite athlete with elite shooting ability and I actually thought his defense was solid and Summer League, so, in summation, Dillingham is an elite athlete and a 3-tier scorer and so is Shannon Jr. We are not going to be stopped this next year, we are going to be ridiculously good!!
When your team has spent ALL available cash, you have to hope that someone comes through in their new role for the team. We are banking a lot on the development of Dillingham. One thing is certain, he does have the talent to do what we need. He even has the talent to be a star, himself. Still, it is a lot to put on a rookie.
It is but, I was re-watching the summer league games, he is incredibly talented and I actually think that we are underrating him a little bit, and I think the undersized label is ridiculous, he's 6'1 but he can fly
Taylor didn’t subpoena the NBA for nothing. He is about to point directly to evidence that Lori and Alex didn’t follow through business wise. Which they should have known better when dealing with Taylor and the value of the franchise shot up. They gave Taylor a loaded weapon and said, don’t shoot! Not the first time Lori and Alex have shown goofy in public
@@ekisola17 everyone has Glen Taylor read wrong, he's actually a very generous guy, and he's one of the reasons why we're in the second apron right now..
In my humble opinion, Ben, I actually think that Glen Taylor is in the right here, and I also think that he is pro Tim Connelly... And I don't necessarily think he is going to trade everyone away if he wins... I think Glen Taylor is in the right....
Kendrick Perkins and Avery Johnson said that we won the draft, we added two elite shot creators, we will not be beat this year, everyone is sleeping on us, WE significantly improved!🎉
The reality on Gobert is there are a lot of centers who are better defenders on the perimeter. The stats would say he's a really good perimeter defender in the regular season, but is somewhere between bad and the literal worst perimeter defender when he's schemed for in the playoffs. This is across his entire career so the sample size is significant. This is what is meant by a situational player. If the other team is designing their offense around drawing Gobert to the perimeter and it's working, the coach needs to take him out in favor of Mobilety and shooting. Bam, AD, Draymond, Dereck Lively, Wemby, even Al Horford has better perimeter instincts despite his age. Coincidentaly, all those guys have made it further than Gobert in the playoffs, and their perimeter defensive numbers also hold up in the postseason
I had the same thoughts when they mentioned the Wolves bench on Simmons' podcast. Like tell me who was the 8th best player on the Celtics?! Guarantee they still win the title if said player was replaced. You win basketball with better players. Having an elite starting 5 and two elite bench players (considering their role) is far better than having a "decent" starting 5 with "good" players 6-9. There's only so many minutes to go around.
J Mac just needs to bump it up a little bit to 14 or 15 ppg. They will already have Ant, KAT, Naz, and the two first round rookies in Rob Dillingham and Terrance Shannon Jr whom I believe will make immediate contributions with scoring.
I see the increase in mid range attempts means he’s been working on his game. Most of the reliable scorers can get their own shot (usually middies) Can’t expect him to take a leap without the risks
Casual take by Zach Lowe...Zach Lowe has just not done his homework on the Timberwolves like so many people that's all.. how could he forget about Terrence Shannon jr, like Avery Johnson said, we have "significantly improved" our bench, not just reliant on the lottery Dillingham pick, Lowe....... I don't even know why Simmons would have had Lowe onto talk about the Timberwolves, he should know that low doesn't give a you know what about the Timberwolves... And Anthony Edwards to your point, Ben, attributed the series loss to Luka in his final post game..
He doesn't need to become that much more productive (although, it would be welcome), we already have the bench support, he just has to improve a little bit..
Playing against Jokic and Luka in the playoffs, then playing with LeBron and Durant in the Olympics were great lessons for ANT. He got to see the two best players in multiple game series and to witness from both the bench and the floor HOFer's Durant, LeBron, and Steph. I expect a more complete game from ANT. I expect another gain in PPG....but the most improvement will be in "team" stats, like rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. As he matures, I expect his stats to near triple/double levels like Joke and Luka.
Thank GOD. Been begging for Skylar for multiple seasons now. Love him. He plays like a vet. I predict he ends up our long term PG over Dillingham. Also he has a master mid range floater already. Might be the best pickup wolves have made in years or decades imo.
Glen it's time to MOVE ON! PLEASE! My entire life has been the Glen Taylor experience and I can't do it anymore. Don't YET AGAIN stop this team from progressing. Sell. Sell. Sell. You can still be there, you can still have your little spot court side. Just give up control! You run the team like you run the Star Tribune and one has a chance for success if you just step aside. If you actually care about this team, give up majority control. PLEASE! It's clear for everyone to see except you.
The fact that your entire life has been the Glen Taylor experience shows your age. I have been a fan since the beginning, going to their first ever win in Metrodome. This means I have seen more losses than you. Still not tired of the team. Not really tired of Glen Taylor, either. My family has had season tickets for all but the first year. Stable ownership is vital for any pro sports franchise. Taylor has given that, in spades. He kept the team in Minnesota. Everything else is meaningless if you can't go to games because the team is in some far away city. The Lynx have been successful in part due to Glen Taylor. If Lore & A-Rod become good owners, it will be with other people's money behind it. That could be suspect.
Garnett remains the greatest Timberwolf, but he has become annoying in retirement. Enjoyment of the Wolves certainly does not depend on showering ever more praise on Garnett. 'Evil' Glen Taylor awarded him the largest contract in NBA history (forcing a change in the overall league contracts for all of its players). He tried to surround him with good players (which didn't work out, but the attempts were there). Garnett handcuffed the team when he wanted his friends on the team. Joe Smith was one of those. AND Glen is the reason you have a team in MN to cheer for.
