@@TechCars tack, det vore kul. Jag har precis köpt en tech2 och dina videor är till bra hjälp. Jag förstår kanske 75% så det går hyfsat bra att följa. 👍🙂
TPMS sensors are GENERIC... just like o2 sensors. These vary from ~10$ each for cheap Chinese ones to 70$ for Eu ones. ONLY real difference is the quality of the batteries fitted to them during Mfg.. Better ($$$) sensors claim 10 yr life bats. Reality is one can reasonably expect 8 to 9 yrs. Cheap ones live a year or so. That said TPMS are a Foolish affectation, being semi accurate... At Best.. and fairly troubleprone. What kind of an Idiot needs a dash readout to advise that a tire is flat ??
Hej igen.

Hi! I removed the battery in my Saab 9-5 2005 to fix it, but when i put the battery again in my car the radio is not working now and I get a massig (Radio code). So my question is kan Topdon scann tool return the radio cod to my car? With regardes Shorsh
That sounds more like the EEPROM inside the Radio unit has forgotten about it's code. You shouldn't have to do that when disconnecting the battery. Once it's married to the car it's married.. unless it's forget. Could happen to the best :-) (forgetting about the marriage that is)
I agree. On long trips, I prefer my "old" '08 Aero. I still enjoy every kilometer in it, the ventilated seats are great, there's less road noise, and it's fast enough even though it's still stock. My '10 NG V6 (also a Hirsch) makes much more road noise and feels much less like a real Saab-you see it, hear it, and feel it. Both cars just passed 105,000 kilometers. Besides that, you feel more special in the NG.
I appreciate the video tutorial. but I wanted to ask a technical question to see if anyone has had this happen to them and how did they resolve it? When you enter F3: tool Option--> Set Clock you can set the current year 2024, but if you enter Self Test --> Selectable Main PCB ---> Real-Time Clock and you want to configure the time and date from there, it does not allow you go from 2010. and when you restart tech2 it can give you a fail in RTC in the POST due to the discrepancy. Has anyone had this problem and its solution. NOTE: I have the original tech 2, Bin NAO 30.005 support 2011 THANK YOU.
I’m exactly considering a last generation SAAB 9-5, is a very great car with good car body shape and multiple useful functions. But after watched video I still have a question: if I drive the car very less, should I still changing oil? Or the oil change is based on your mileage?
hello. i saw the list of compatible usb to rs232 cables to your site tech2wiki. i found the trendnet tu s9 but the new version cable. the old one you describe is discontinued.if i take the new one should it work?thanks!
If the drive isn't good without the hyperstrut and the drivesense then why did they sell cars without it? That doesn't sound like a very Saab thing, was that a GM thing?
Here's the PDF www.dropbox.com/s/is6x9gof96dohhm/CentreConsole.pdf?dl=0 and here's the link to the switches. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10Pcs-Omron-D2HW-ER201H-Micro-Limited-Switch-Electronic-Components/124238749177?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Greatly appreciated. I will be doing one soon as I just purchased a spare Aero in case my daily gets damaged. Somehow someone destroyed the shifter. I have a used one to test and likely replace the switch. Keeping my fingers crossed that it drives well! Once again thank you very much. You are a credit to the Saab community! Kevin
You need to move up a bit to a more expensive tool. Take a look here. www.topdon.com/pages/vehicle-coverage. ArtiDiag Pro has more encoding possibilities, but you need to check if that tool can do it. If not you need to move up to a Phoenix tool. BR Markus
It seems that you traded in your older Saab 9-5 Wagon for the new sweet heart? That new car is a joy and a delight, even after watching it in 2024! I wIsh I had the means to resurrect SAAB.
Thanks for watching. I never traded it in.. we drove that back as well. But now I've sold the ng95. Parts for it was just becoming a nightmare. Still have the og95 and it's being renovated every now and then. 👌
Do you have to pay every year in order for this OBD reader to work ? If you dont pay does that still work ? Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan for Fuel Pressure ? And can this scan for compression test ? Is this a Complete diagnostic Scan tools ?does it Scan from 1996 cars going up ? How about Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl or Buick Park Ave 2003 3.8 Liter does it Scan these cars ? Does this scan for battery ignition parameters ? Does it Scan for a bad head gaskets ? Is this the latest version 2024 ? Is the Topdon AD 600 S the same as Topdon AD 500 S ? Is that free also like the AD 500 S? What is the difference ?
ArtiDiag 600S do not require any subscription. Some things that you do can require an internet connection (I don't know exactly which). It will work as it's best even if not updated but there can new functionality or bugs in an update. The best you can do is to visit the topdon vehicle coverage page. I'll put the link here and thanks for watching! www.topdon.com/pages/diagnostic-tool-support
What Year is the one you are reviewing? Is it free no need to pay yearly pay ? Topdon told me that it's free lifetime updates does this means it's free ?does this means it's a lifetime coverage ?
@@TechCars What Year is the one you are reviewing? Is it free no need to pay yearly pay ? Topdon told me that it's free lifetime updates does this means it's free ?does this means it's a lifetime coverage ?
It's from 2023 and yes there's no yearly fee on this one. Once you step up a few models like the Artidiag Pro you need to pay subscription. Lifetime coverage, but at some point I think they will abandon the tool because it's becoming too old(slow) to support. I don't see that coming in a long time though. Enjoy!
@@TechCarsI just now got done talking to one of Topdons call center in NewJersey.I asked for their coverage .They told me it's life time coverage and updates lifetime does this means the coverage and life time also ? They told me the year 2023 and 2024 there is no difference .
Thanks! This video was very helpful. Bought this for my Linux setup, had a few problems at first but got it running eventually. With the equalizer adjustments it sounds very good, thanks for this tip!
