note: some of the attack names may be given by the puppets themselves, as they are rather foul-mouthed especially compared to Rina herself, and its completely their style to insult whoever they are attacking :p also, pretty sure any of her attacks even the basic ones give the team buff, that really lets her just swap in for a split second to give her buff before you swap again to a character that takes advantage of said buff. I just wish the UI told you how long the buff lasted like it does for other buffs, though at least its still an easy way to track if you have it or not without having to waste time or attention looking for the puppets on the field
I also got Soldier 11 as my first S rank character. I wanted Grace, but what are you gonna do🤷♂; however, I was happy when I got not one, but two Ellens in the same pull! I didn't pull for her w-engine in effort to save up to pull for more characters down the line, but next time she comes back, I'll definitely pull for it.
did my first pull, pulled Ellen and oh boy, I turned into a real monkey and started to jump around my room like a monkey stuck in a zoo. Banged myself onto a mirror I have in my room, mom came in took my phone cause I was being loud and shit bro it was funny asf 😭

So question. I sadly missed out on Ellen being that I was just starting out and I wanted Rina first initially. I did get Zhu yuan which works out in the end but I guess what my question is…will Ellen eventually return again? And if so, how long would that take??
The only character that could make me confused with stat is rina, since she needs pen ratio, so idk if the flat penetration that we get from the disc substat would actually affected or not.
I have tested this and sadly it does not buff Rina herself Side note, her core skill that increases electric dmg, the buff does not show up on the stat screen but the damage is in fact higher.
started the game today, played the trials, l really liked Rina and Grace and was lucky to get Rina but really lost how to play it thank you for the great guide even for those new to the game ❤️
i won both my ellen banners, but i did get rina, grace and then rina's weapon on the standard. for the bangboo's i got them both early. which was butler and then the ether dmg on with the swirl tummy, going after the sharkboo now
I got Ellen at the guaranteed, and throughout the process I got enough Anton's and Soukaku's to complete their cinemascape. Also got Nekomata for my S rank on standard.
The wording on the M1 is really bizarre to me. Is it saying that the PEN Ratio buff to allies is 130% of what it was before or is it saying that the max PEN Ratio she gives her allies is now 130%? First one sounds most logical but the wording is kinda confusing. Can someone confirm what it does?
My first S was Von Lycon which is good because he's the one I wanted but I got him on my first 10 pull which was unreal for me. I thought it was going to be like Diluc for Genshin where people would get him early and I wouldn't get him for YEARS. The 2nd one I want to go for is also Rina (since I already have Ellen and Corrin) but I'm getting the feeling it may take till my '300 pulls gets your chosen S rank' pull before I get her.
I would recomend showing images when talking about combo order or switch order. Cause sometimes it's hard to visualize even tho you're showing the character doing the animations. Otherwise a great video ^-^
I just got her C1 and I'm a bit confused about the increase in the buff she gives, since it's written "is increased **to** 130%" and not **by**, what is set to 130% ? Is it the 25% conversion ? Or is it a misspell and it means the total of the pen buff she gives is increase by a % ? It would make more sense for it to be the second option, but then is it an increase of 30% (so a max of 39% then), or 130% (so a max of 69%?????) Good video though there's one part of her utility you missed, since she makes shock last longer, it gives a wider windows to build other elements and proc the combo reaction.
It's not entirely clear how her M1 works, and I still can't find anyone who has Rina's M1 to know for sure how the buff works. The description in english suggests an increase of 30% - (25% from Rina + 12%)*1.3, with other languages, it's more or less the same, but the russian localization says an increase OF 130%, which is most likely a mistake since it would be a very strong buff.
In case someone is looking for clarification on this: It's a 30% increase on the pen ratio you were getting at M0. So for instance if you were getting 25% pen ratio it would be 25 x 1.3 = 32.5% pen ratio.
Great Guide! Only small detail missing is that Rina can dodge through opponents. She will phase through them and its helpful for back attacks. (like for Neko or Hollow conditions)
I did not want to pull for Ellen, I just thought goth maid with a shark tail was so weird. Then you meet her in the story and she's so cool and I pulled until I got her. Just shows how good the characterization is in this game.
I didnt think i would like this game so I just pulled. Got Ellen and Soilder 11, love them both and enjoy the game much more than anticipated. The gun girl is cool but sometimes when you dont know if your in it for the ling hall, you just get what you can get to have fun. Extremely happy with Ellen tho her and Soilder are so much fun to have as my first two dps
Correction, based on Zhu Yuans description when you use her in the chapter 2 intermission story, her bonus actually activates on ANY support character rather than Ether element. This makes her very flexible to slot into a lot of different teams.
This video was based based on the CBT 3 information (it was posted before the game released!) but yes this is a very nice change for her :D allows for more flexibility
She is strange. I have never felt that way. I found her design a bit "mid" at first...but the longer I look at her the more I like it. I am at a point where I not only summoned for her but also consider her my top 3 favourite units in the game so far. Kinda funny.
