Hey guys, love seeing u here in Lithuania. Maybe you can tell whats is the biggest difference between a short wakeboard and a long wakeboard not really watching in to the weight/heigjt of the rider?
Shorter board will be much more reactive to movements, but you will feel much more pressure on landings and they will feel heavier. Longer boards have larger surface area meaning that they are slightly less maneuverable but landings feel considerably softer. We would definitely recommend riding a longer board for cable riding as you will adapt to it pretty quickly!
@@ditrii because we all come from the UK and when Brexit happened and it made travelling harder the name Brexit boys just became a thing for all the uk pro boys haha 😂
Would be great if someone could post tutorial with an above view to see where carrier is on cable to know exactly when to load n launch after turning corner
Every cable is a little bit different, but usually if you come round the corner, get under the running wires and then begin your edge after around 2 seconds. The place in which you perform the raley shouldn’t really make a big difference as long as you are loading the line tension correctly!
That's some cool tips ! 2 years soon of wakeboarding but i struggle with some bad habits. I will try to fix it next session, thursday with my new JB's freepress for the first time, can't wait !!
how are you guys able to be wakeboarding all season long ? every day I'm out on the water I feel like I've been hit by a train, the next couple of days I'm a wreck, my hole body is in pain, and generally I'm in good physical shape, with all my fitness discipline I'm still getting my ass kicked !!!! how ???
A good mix of riding and rest days, try to make the most of some short sessions, rather than riding for hours just doing the same things! It definitely takes its toll on your body but stretching, foam roller and other exercises help as well!
Love this vid, counterbalance all the no-airtrick competitions poping up here and there. Personally I learned on old 4-pole cable with 2 homemade kickers, at most. Kind of miss clean lines without so many floating plastic obstacles 😜
