It’s moments like these that make me cry with joy. I had a similar experience today with a puffer during a drift dive. Too special for words 🥲 I’ve recently become a vegetarian because animals, all of them, are too vulnerable and too beautiful to serve up on a plate. Just look into their eyes, you’ll see. ❤️

Except a fair amount of attacks are predation or territorial. Yes we must respect their home and not get mad when nature does its thing. Circle of life.
Yeah i seen that, imagine trying to molt with 1,000 jerks climbing all over you n some guy with a camera filming your every move. Youve already lost 2 legs and a claw and then somebody walks across your face and the guy next to you pinches your leg while its still soft. This crab picked the wrong time and place to try n molt.
Best part of this was the other crabs being like “Yo homie hurry up we gotta get the hell out of here, they’re evacuating! Yo man this isn’t a game hurry your ass up!” Seriously this is one of the most entertaining nature videos I’ve seen, well done.
