@@arranparkinson6271 yes indeed. I carry the Preston Eva ... Som bags of grounbait and pellets and some bait tubs of meat and corn all together . If I'm not using the bait tubs I can fit flask as well
Do you think it would be able to take two Eva bait systems. I was thinking one for bait and then a other for all my feeder tackle? When I get to the bank I just have two bags to open up, put the bait on my side tray and the one I'm using for tackle on top of the tackle safe hard lid next to my tray. That's what I'm thinking
NO you can buy 30 inch leg screw caps from preston and upgrade the inception .. i have two on mine. They come in packs of two.. a little tricky to do but not too bad.
I’ve got the same rod. Only the 10ft version. Would you recommend getting the 320 reel or the 420? Also what lbs mainline would be best for the set up?
This jacket is a waste of money….it hardly gets warm. I sent back 2 jackets which turned out to be faulty. After that I just stuck to my sundridge bib and brace….job done!!!
nice peace of plastic, but i cut it with hand as easy and with more different sizes in almost the same time... even twice the time is no big problem.. i don't have to clean the plastic, just a plate, so that safes time... but its handy... i rather do it by hand, as easy also. Boiling water ad with garlic in it, give an extra flavor and also retracts fat from the meat. When jou just cut and use a fish liquid or amino liquid directly on the meat for more than 12 hours, you don't need boiling water.... on a week session its more easy.... nice video by the way.
cheers for that. Could you do a vid for plumbing the depth when a few yards out, way pat the end of your rod. I struggle with plumbing the depth it' s my nemesis
I took this man’s comments on board, BIG MISTAKE. Paid £80.00 and it was the biggest waste of money ever. Every single cast the line tangled behind the spool around the mechanism cogs. TOTAL RUBBISH.
I have the 506 mk2, which is very similar to this one, and it is totally perfect, I've used it a lot, and never had one single tangle,, maybe you've put too much line on the spool,???
OK so say I wanted to use 6 or maybe 8 pound line for slightly heavier float fishing to try to avoid small roach and perch and instead target Tench and small carp. Under arm casting with a 13ft rod. Which spool would you recommend? And do you fill the spool right up with line. Or do you stop slightly short to reduce the risk of the line jumping down the back of the spool?
@@carlbrain3758 personally with line like that I'd use the deepest spool with some backing line if needed. And spool it to just a mil or so short of the lip to prevent spooling off .
Sorry I’m very late to the party. I have just bought the 506mk 2 which is fabulous. Unfortunately I’ve heard a lot of negative feed back on the 507mk2. May I ask are they 1 or 2 pin on the spool & how is it fairing up today ?
I find the legs are too far apart from the box on the preston 3D ,,,so if you have shorter arms, u feel like your streching too reach over to the Bait trays and pole socks...
Im thinking of getting a map tks 8.5 metre margin with 3 top kit. or 10 metres preston edge monster, can you still get an extension for map pole & which one would you recommend.
The map tks is awesome for its price . But the Preston edge monster is known for being the best of the best for pure strength and fishability in its price point. The only reason I went for a MAP instead was it fitted all my top kits. Personally I'd stay the Preston is better.
Still got it and going strong. No issues yet apart from the stitching on the back bag coming apart at one of the velcro straps. Due to me over loading not a flaw in the bag.
I've bought this rod rest but when I screw my quiver rest on the end its always at an angle no matter how I adjust the quick release block. I have to put a washer on the thread so it tightens up in the correct direction.
Great video. Ive just purchased one of these 2nd hand. Does it matter which blade you cut the meat first? Also if I'm only going to use one tin but one cut half in one size and half in another will it work still or will there be too much movement with there being extra space for half a tin to move?
It should still work if you only use half. And it doesn't really matter which blades first. It's still and even cut. I just tend to use the straight blades first
Quick question is the power top kit a 2 piece kit? Meaning does it breakdown into 2 sections. Doing my margin pole research I’ve seen some power kits that are shorter and only one complete section. Thanks.
@@fishingbitesandbanter293 morning, mate! Quick question Black Friday has arrived deals aplenty. I have seen an incredible deal on an M20 8.7m margin. Do you know much about them?
Don't know much about them. Never even held one. From accounts of people who have one they say they are good and solid. Apart from that no info . Sorry
Hi. I have to say I love the system. I use every piece of it for all bits and bobs every single trip. From box attachments to hook length boxes and feeders, to towels and bait oils and flavours. It's all in there . Even room inside for a few rig boxes
