They only give you there brands even if you agreed with the doctor to have other brands they always seem to go out of stock and you have to pay £50 every three months that are pointless as you never get the thc or strains agreed at the meetings 😂🤦♂️

I have been in on going pain for 15 years. I was reticent to try it but legal medical cannabis has been such a relief. The biggest plus for me is dosage. Being able to use as much or as little as I need to get a handle on my pain on any single day. I'm female & fat so I get dismissed on 2 levels. Everything that's "wrong" with me is either hormonal or because I'm fat. I have an excellent GP but specialists are rarely helpful. Going thru the pain clinic at our local hospital caused more pain than it controlled. They essentially told me that the only way I could access any of their services was to stop taking all the opiods I take because according to 1 study 85% of people with on going pain who are taken off opiods end up in less pain. Despite my voiced concerns they offered no support for withdrawal or what I could use instead (they refuse to prescribe medical cannabis) or if I was in the 15% that didn't just get better on their own. The fact that I have PMDD, ME/CFS & I'm perimenopauseal wasn't even taken into account. Having found a good medical cannabis Dr has been a lifesaver. Here in Australia medical cannabis is only a few yrs old, it still has some kinks to work out but it's still a step up Thank you for talking about this
I have been with Curaleaf for 3 years and the medication has been life changing but the quality of the medication has been questionable now I have pulled a seed out and they are not interested in the fact I spend £80 for medication that doesn't work, luckily there is a lot more choice of clinics I don't need to put up with this any more.
@katieforster2321 I am looking for another clinic now. Curaleaf has to take up any quality issues with their supplier to see if you can get a refund but in the meantime, they have offered me to spend another £80 to see if that one would be better The problem with seeds in your cannabis is that when a plant is fertilised it only produces a fraction of the THC and it is THC that kills the pain. I have had bags that were dried too fast and made it smell like hay and harsh to smoke but still relived the pain with seeds I hardly noticed I took it and it was supposed to be 26% THC
I have used Cureleaf and I still recommend to anybody looking for other options. HOWEVER! I will admit, its cheaper to get from my local guy, But you are gauaranted it is clean and good quality non the less from Cureleaf. 100% worth a try.
Not long started with Curaleaf.. I'm not wanting to get stoned, so am I right thinking I'm less likely too with the Curaleaf medicinal product rather than off the street? Also isnt it my very harder to get oil on the street? Any info much appreciated..
Sell mouldy unregulated flower not actual medication for the people as most is radiated and also you fight to stop people to have the right to grow their own so you can make more money
@@katieforster2321 drys it out ruins the flavour and the potency of the flower so it's not actually the right medication more like a very watered down version
@katieforster2321 Hi Katie, Thanks for engaging with our content - appreciate there is a lot of information out there! Irradiation is a process of decontamination to reduce the presence of potentially harmful yeasts, moulds, or bacteria which can be naturally occurring on plants, particularly when grown in soil. This is important, particularly for patients with a compromised immune system who are vaporising their flower. Our clinicians can prescribe both irradiated and non-irradiated medications depending on individual needs. If you wanted more information, we'd be happy to have a chat! Please feel free to email us at patientsupport@curaleafclinic.com Many thanks, Curaleaf Clinic
@thejackofallgrades545 Hi Jack, We do not prescribe un-regulated flower, but it is true that some - not all - of the medicine we prescribe is irradiated. Our priority will always be to help improve access to medical cannabis for patients, alongside appropriate care. As such, we have never lobbied against Home Grow cannabis. Curaleaf International are supportive of efforts to introduce legislation which may allow individuals, with appropriate safeguards, to grow their own cannabis for personal consumption reducing reliance on the black market as we know this can be associated with significant harms. However, we do not believe Home Grow cannabis is right for everyone, and medical cannabis patients should still have access to regulated pharmaceutical products alongside medical care. Many thanks, Curaleaf Clinic
“Gender pain gap”? What an irritaitibg marketing expression that wreaks of mysoginy. Ha RE: previous commenter - Street cannabis is always dangerous, is totally in quality controlled and a relentlessly sub par product. Expensive and illegal. Ignore the commenter above 🥱
Sub par product at a vastly inflated price. Was with them for over 2 years but then decided it was worth the risk to just buy from the street at almost half the price and twice the quality.
Cannot praise Curaleaf enough! My life has been turned around since starting with them and it’s improved my relationship with my partner and kid drastically.
My pain management consultant Dr Duncan Farquharson at The Chesterfield Royal Hospital in Derbyshire has over 35 years experience but he says he has no knowledge of any Nhs trials or any of his colleagues. When l asked him if it could help me he says he couldn't say because of long term effects and even psychosis.? I lost my job 12 years ago as a Hgv driver after a failed revisional L5/S1 discectomy left me with sciatica, chronic pain, and eventually a few years years late on epidural fibrosis. To top it off l have osteoarthritis from head to toe but particularly shoulder and neck.I had acdf successfull surgery on my C6 vertebrae by a very successful Neurosurgeon Mr Radatz at the Thornbury hospital in Sheffield. He was in charge of all Yorkshire and Humberside for 15 years but now works for himself. He also Mri scanned my back with contrast and said he sympathised with me and said if he had done my operation in the first place things would probably be different but he could see 2 masses of fibrosis and said that any operation could leave me with loss of limb function. He said you have had various pains treatments including radio ablation there is nothing more l can do l am sorry. l take various opiods ,Gabapentin etc.lce packs.l spend most of my time in bed because the more l try to do the more painful its is for me.But don't know if there is any chance medical cannabis can help me?
