I never saw this as introduced by Agnetha before, showing no competition or jealousy whatsoever, which people often used to try to say about them, but she warmly calls her her colleague Frida. How lovely. 💕💞💕 And a fantastic song too, with a great video theme.
This song was originally recorded by Donna Summer for her album "I'm a rainbow", which was scheduled to be released in Oct 1981 but remained unreleased until 1994.
Frida's level of English could be explained by the fact she'd been in a relationship with a British man for some time, and living in Oxfordshire, England
At about 4:00, when asked what they do when they meet, Agnetha says 'We've mostly talked about money, I think.' and they both laugh about it. I think that was a funny little dig at the Aftonbladet newspaper who founded and sponsor the Rockbjörnen awards. That newspaper was one of those in the media who gave ABBA a hard time in the 70's about 'commercial' music and the money the group was making. Charming as they are, the girls always had a feisty side to them.
