We were there right up front. They played a storm and they sang plenty. First class musicians played and sang their hearts out for two hours. What's not to love about these gus
Every time I see these guys live, I just sit back in awe and wonder. I played in bands until I was 64 years old. Thank God I didn't know about these guys - I'd have quit way sooner.
This, 'I saw these guys and I wanted to quit' remark,' I see it all the time. Yes, this is a great band. But when people come and see you play, they're standing in front of you, not Marty Stewart. So unless you are spectacularly bad, they're not going to be thinking about much else but your band. This I have found in 43 years of playing music.
@@benw-king3380 I didn't quit, and was in two successful bands from age 50 - 68, before I stopped gigging. Before that, I had been a church musician for 26 years, so I probably wouldn't have quit, you're right. However seeing these guys would have made me realize how amateurish I am.
What a great concert! I was a bit worried during the Trump years that music like this would die. But she gave the middle finger and «Fuck Trump». What a great band and singer.
