Maybe I’m old, but I remember being a freshman in high school and having access to a real gym the school had, and there were quite a few of us that could bench that weight Easily for many reps, and not short stroke the reps… That was not considered anything special or even noteworthy at that time haha… Nobody was really smart enough to even warm up then either… Everyone just hit it hard from beginning to end, and went until we were totally spent… Full body workouts everyday haha.. Ah, the good old days haha..
