This will be the next mask I try. I like the amount of glass above the nose pocket. Having a small amount of water inside the mask helps with eliminating fogging during a dive. And that space above the nose would allow the diver to move the water to anywhere within the mask. I think it's a great design.
Hi both, sounds like you had a great trip. Definitely need to add the Farnes to our “must do” list! Brilliant to hear Honey enjoyed it too! I finally managed to dive Swanage pier last weekend with the camera and thoroughly enjoyed it. 82 minute dive in the semi dry and didn’t even hit 4m! Lots of life and plenty of micro critters to keep me busy! Rescue course now booked in for the beginning of September and then Lundy later in the month. Enjoy August and your dive plans and look forward to hearing all about it in September 😊 Happy & safe diving!
@@TheBiGScuba Billionaire Larry Connor plans to pick up where Oceangate failed. For a change he plans to do it right and get the submersible from someone who knows what the right materials and engineering are: Triton. Apparently he plans to show the world that tourist subs are generally safe, even in deep water. According to what is available on YT Triton will not run the business, they'll "just" deliver the sub.
Thank you for your comment. At the time of the video I did not have the time to setup the satellite connection and gps. I will add another video with that. Watch this channel for an update:)
Hi thank you for your comment. The warranty lasts 24 months from the selling date, the check or the invoice are used to demonstrate the selling date. We would always recommend that in light of any questions or issues with the product that you contact Narked At 90. They also service these computers and associated accessories.
Do you think that instead of a podcast a full video would be able to be set up with each one of you trying the dry suits ? I am actually looking for a dry suit and having videos in addition to sound would be very helpful for the right decison 😅
Agreed! It is very exciting to see the current levels of innovation, interest, investment and design of living spaces being worked on for future better understanding of our oceans and why they must be protected. There is other living habitat already in existence, the team at Deep are building a Sentinel to take exploration even further
@@TheBiGScuba Absolutely! We have followed the progress of countless underwater habitat projects over the years and we are finally at a point where the technology, and the right people, are in place for something to happen. Whether it is the team at Deep, Cousteau and Proteus, Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel, Calamar Park in Greece, us at ASC, or the others out there with goals and plans, it is a truly exciting time in this field. Thank you all for doing this walkthrough and interview with them
@@atlantisseacolony Thanks for your kind comments. We have reached out to you via LinkedIn, perhaps we could chat on there DM or happy to email thebigscubapodcast@gmail.com
Just purchased one at the Go Dive show this weekend..... looking forward to trying it out.... as you have used it, do you need to prep it like any other mask with toothpaste or abrasives or even a lighter to remove any silicone residue... mine looks pretty clear out of the box?...Thanks in advance
Hi Kevin I did. I used both the cigarette lighter method followed by toothpaste and electric toothbrush on it and it worked a treat. I’m sure either would work but I wanted to be doubly sure. One of warning if use the cigarette method do be careful as it’s a light flick over of the flames don’t hold in position. Let us know how you get on. I really liked the design, feel, comfort and clear visibility
Thanks very much.... yes I just take the edge off with a lighter and then toothpaste it...Cola works as a rinser too, gets the last bits off I have found... only looks like a very light silicone coating on it though compared to the Tusa Visualator I have just done..... I am looking forward to using this mask... thanks for the response.. @@TheBiGScuba
Hi thanks for your comment. The new generation Raptor offers a really comfortable ride on road and off road. There is a bump noise with them , same as their is with the petrol. I find on a long country track with pot holes they iron out the ruts more smoothly than the what the Wildtrak does . There’s no bounce and in Baja mode it’s another level!
This had a powered roll up cover fitted at the factory. Having had a truck with the manual for a number of years I much prefer the powered option it’s worth the spend! But order it at the time you build your truck
Iam in the process of buyin a ford kuga 1.5l ecoboost 10mths old 7.000 miles st line x edition .ive been reading all the horror stories could anyone tell me if they've storted the engine problems
Thank you so much. The sharing of this story has no price. I don't think I heard anything like that in my all life. Commercial saturation divers is an unbelievable work. We all love a good ending story don't we ? Thanks really.
I tested one last week and while I was happy with both the design and the field of view (especially vertically) I couldn't get a reliable seal below my nose. Frustrating because I liked it so much and because FE claim the mask fits almost any face. Tried adjusting it before the dive and for half an hour during the dive but had to switch back to my XDeep mask which, while not perfect, fits me better.
Sorry that it did not fit so well @Yggdrasil42 - the Seeker has been tested on a lot of face shapes, and while it did fit almost everyone - there will always be a few exceptions - we're sorry that one of these exceptions was you! Thank you for trying it out. Fourth Element.
Hi @yggdrasil42 thanks for commenting. Sorry to hear about the leak. The one I had leaked a little at first but was snake ti resolve it with a slight adjustment of the straps and it was ok. Similarly to you I like the modern look design. Thanks for watching :)
@@fourthelementofficialI just bought mine, and it is on its way to me. Just curious, if I was leaking with Scubapro Synergy2, especially when descending/end of dive, would you assume this is going to be a better mask? I'm just being curious and next dive is not until quite some time huhu
I love swanage pier so much life. Never seen a jelly there though. Just come back from st abbs doing swanage fleur de lys and valentine tanks in a week or so
yer they are ok, a lot of diving in the UK is drysuit based, there's lots of manufacturers here in the UK like O'Three, Fourth Elelement and Otter Drysuits to name a few.
Thanks Jon for your comment. I did notice on some of the dives they had a switchblock I’m guessing a Lungfish that linked their single cylinder and pony bottle. Would be good to see if Ross goes down that route with further experience and episodes
