This is a pretty great trick! Could you provide a link to the website in the video description so it's easier to access? Then I don't always have to skip to the right position in the video to gain the link 🥲🤩
Hey man, found you on reddit. I have a question, how do you make those transitions where you showcase the mechanism or Redstone? Was that blender? You don't have to reply and tell me your secrets. I'm just try to get a channel started too and thought that was cool. Thanks!
Hey dude, I used the After Effects plugin Element 3D V2. It's great until you need things like collisions or photorealism then you would need to go full 3D.
this is so simple and cool! i wonder if there's any way add floor selections without hugely increasing the complexity. like just a vertical panel of buttons instead of one for up and one for down.
When you go up in the elevator and stop over the trap door, the smooth version will set you slowly onto your feet while the snappy version sets you down quickly. The swapper at the bottom is different and the redstone tick timing is offset by 1, so you need 1 redstone tick less per block height. i.imgur.com/38M5d0p.png
Are decorated pots replaceable with any blocks that exist on 1.16.5? I wish I could play on last version, but I play on my phone using pojavlauncher (Java launcher for mobile), and versions newer than 1.16.5 lag A LOT 😥
Anvils, cakes (yes, but if you break the bottom one all others break), chests (they probably cause lag though) and Grindstones work too. Actually you can use walls as well but you go a bit further into the water column.
Damn thats pretty sleek and affordable, seems to be actually worth implementing into a tower build than using the standards magma block and soul sand and hoping youll manage to hit the right floor. Nice!
The world download has a mistake? In the second tower, of your design, uses a stone button where a wooden button is needed. Anyways, Amazing design, love it. : )
Unfortunately not :( I tried but when you push in the soul sand, the water doesn't stop pushing you upwards until you reach the top of the bubble column. Check out Xisumavoid's elevator design. That one works in Bedrock, too.
There is a world download in the description. I can't really give an exact material list because depending on the height of your floors, the amounts are different. Also there is a snappy and a smooth version. In general for the swapping mechanism, you will need: 1 Sticky Piston 1 Observer 1 Soul Sand 1 Magma Block 2 Slime Blocks for the snappy version 2 Stairs for the smooth version 3 Redstone Dust Water and any building block (+Kelp to create water sources) Then each level will ROUGHLY need these materials: Decorated Pots (Your floor height x2) 2 Buttons 1 Door (Nether wood doors sound the best, imo) 1 Trap Door 2+ Redstone Repeaters 4+ Redstone Torches 10+ Redstone Dust Building Blocks Slabs Walls
This is an absolutely magnificant multi potion brewing system with a beautiful delivery system! Its so unique and works amazingly! I can not say enough nice things about Imperial PC either, top tier human being right there. ❤
@@ImperialPC yes I am on java. When the chest minecart goes around the bend just inside the machine and hits the powered rails after the corner, the rails are powered but the minecart chests comes to a stop there. Not sure where i could share screen shots, really appreciate the help tho!
@@ThePrimeEnforcer Ah I think the cart wants to drive against the composter because of directionality. Just place a rail on top of the composter behind the powered rail, so the powered rail becomes angled upwards. Then you can break that rail again. Let me know if that fixes it! If the cart gets stuck at the block in front of it now, you can replace it with a glass block.
@@ImperialPC for some reason the cart only wants to travel the wrong direction when it hits those three powered rails. :( I tried both solutions without luck. Im sure there is something im missing that im doing or not doing on my end. I appreciate the help neve the less!
@@ThePrimeEnforcer That's a stubborn cart! Try to set it up as described in my previous comment and then add a full block on top of the composter. That should give the cart only one direction to move. Or another quick solution should be to build it like in the video but then replace the composter behind the powered rail with a full block.
Wow, Imperial, this is a really high-quality video! I love the redstone explanation section. Adding each section with an overview of its purpose is the best way I have seen this done. Also, love the shootout! The first pronunciation was correct. I'll definitely stay subbed and look forward to anything else you put out.
I wanted to emphasize the excitement I got from this, so that was on purpose :) C418's music has so many changes in volume it's not easy to use in edits but it's so great to convey feelings.
