My name is Chase and I am a 23 year old recent college graduate that has a passion for all things outdoors. This passion stems from my experience with Oteosarcoma (a form of cancer) at the age of 9 that left me unable to play physically demanding sports along with other physical limitations. I now focus on making the best in my life and I strive to inspire others after being blessed beyond measure.
That brown trout is massive for a creek/river. But sometimes trout wash up into lake eerie. This one guy caught like a 2+ foot brown trout which almost looked like a lake trout with its girth

There are not that many 500lb or larger snap swivels on friend. ru-vid.comUgkxUggREp1Kytzg8CpXMHFtlfQp4bskrIuy In fact I only found two. So I purchased both the (500lb) and the American Fishing Wire (600lb) units. When My order arrived the 500lb snap swivels were inside a bag that was labeled "250lb test", which caused some momentary concern. I contacted to make sure my 500lb 10/0 swivels were actually 500lb test. responded promptly and explained the miss-marked package. These 500lb snap swivels utilize .080" diameter wire that, despite the size, is still fairly easy to open with your bare hands. The ball bearing swivels are a thing of beauty and roll smooth as glass. So how do the AFW snap swivels compare to the snap swivels? Well, there is a 100lb test difference so the only uses .080" wire, and the snap is significantly longer, which combine to make the snap easy to open with your hands. The AFW 600lb snap is so stiff, and short, that most people will need to use a pair of pliers to open them. Also utilizes ball bearing swivels whereas the AFW swivel is a plain barrel swivel. I frankly like both units and cannot decide which is better, so I made half a dozen leaders out of 49 strand 7x7 stainless 600lb cable I also got from AFW and I am going gator hunting. We will soon know who is the master of 500lb plus snap swivels.
I believe he said it was the same as the one on his console, Helix 5 Chirp but with 'DI' added to the name (Down Imaging). Usually about $50 extra for the DI version.
I understand this was a new bow for you at the time this was filmed but for those of you watching to learn please watch a different video on how to draw your bow properly first. This is not a full draw and it will be impossible to gain any consistency shooting like this.
just a guy that grew up where youre at.... i wouldnt wear waders. if you step off a shelf they fill with water and you sink like a stone. buried a few ppl just cause they had on waders
Very nice video. I'm looking at this unit for my snowmobile for ice fishing, JUST for the GPS feature to get me two and from safely and to mark waypoints. How is the GPS feature on this? Thanks!
