It's called Trematon Castle, if you look on Google maps you'll see it. Just to warn you that a lady messaged me and said it's no fly zone over Churchtown community farm, however there is no signage and I couldn't find anything online stating this. Maybe because it's a nature reserve but still they should have signage or add to the No fly zone apps, otherwise how are we supposed to know???? Thanks for the comments buddy. Next time if I film over there, it's all still doable from standing outside of the restricted area and get most of the shots. Cheers.
@@dronedabbler364 thank you 👌🏼 Yeah exactly, if there’s no signage, no NFZ on apps and no airport within the radius then normal CAA guidance and rules apply I would say. It’s not like you were being a nuisance so I hope she approached you politely. We’re not all irresponsible pilots 😄
Grew up at Longlands not far from Forder and Antony Passage had a wonderful childhood and there were wonderful characters in all the villages and hamlets around there sadly all gone now.
Cool vid. I keep meaning to take my drone out there. i walk my dog at tincombe as being its in my back garden. hardly used my drone, i've got the first one DJI Mini 1.
Well, since I've posted this film, a lady informed me that there's a no drone fly zone over Churchtown community farm. I haven't seen any signs, nor read online, nor does it come up on my controller as a no fly zone, so I guess be careful. I guess maybe because it's a nature reserve, which is fare enough but there should be signs prohibiting flying. 👍😁
@@dronedabbler364 FYI tincombe is a nature reserve but there is nothing on my controller informing me that i cannot fly there. I am aware of flying over the minesweeper and juniper point etc as it comes up on the controller as you say. I have a RU-vid channel as well, but no drone flying content on there. Ah, you must live local then. Yeah it's a lovely place isn't it. I also like walking at Minions and Golitha Falls too which as you know are close. I have both of those walks filmed and on my RU-vid channel. Thanks for your comment. 👍
