@@gullahgeechee2699 oh, best believe upgrades are in the process. Forged internals, MDS delete, Hellcat injectors, Hellcat diff, not to mention I’ve just done the suspension, and of course Whipple!
I've owned one before it was my favorite ride, until it got totaled. I do miss driving it, very fun lots of looks from ppl it was completely stock OG silver 2006 super clean.
I drive a 95 Z28 convertible with the 6-speed! I've had it over ten years and it has over 200k miles! Mine has some mild mods with a fresh 94 Corvette rebuild! I replaced the engine myself and I do all of the repairs and maintenance! Cheap stupid fun!
It’s not to me unless it says it in the front on the fenders inside the car on the back near the spreader all Z3 came with Z 28 ambulance you look like you got an LT Camaro
These come with the Xans on the fenders yours doesn’t have it on the fender so to me that’s not a Z that year came with the fenders on the side of fender
I had a 93 Z-28 polo green hard top with automatic and the dreaded 2.73 gears in the rear which killed street performance but ran wild after 60mph! I paid $4200.00 for it back in 2003 with 94k on the odo. Miss it like crazy.
I have a 1996 Camaro in the same color polo green but mine is the 3.8 . I’m the second owner but I’ve owned it since 98 so I’m basically the original owner.
This is an awesome car. The interior plastic materials were horrible, but the car itself was just a fantastic ride, that little terrible things like that didn't ruin it. Especially the V8 models, which will be future classics. Currently, I have a 1995 Firebird Formula and I love cruising in it.
I had a 1997 Z28 Automatic with a stall. I could be at a dead stop and punch the gas and that car would go sideways all the way down the street smoking the tires. Only thing I hated was the coolant system needing to be bleed and the damn timing cover seals that always leaked oil.
It's a z28. The lt1 5.7 V8 was the only motor for z28 and SS. It was not offered in a lower trim than the Z28. All RS and base trims had either a 3.4L or 3.8L 3800 V6.
You got your suspension wrong Chief. ABC and Airmatic are two separate things. ABC is hydropneumatic, means a fluid holds up the suspension. (Pentosin) Air is just that. Arnott makes a tradition strut/shock that replaces the ANC or Airmatic.
Always wanted one. Always been a dream car. Now I own an 07 and love it. Also your floor mats are aftermarket cuz they come with ones out of factory that say Chrysler. They never came with srt mats
