Only wish our snowmobiling season was as long as the 4 wheeler season appears to be. Also if these are all groomed trails by the ridge runners or swift diamond. If they are some real tight spots for a grommer.
@@mikebrouillette6087 not sure all the trails I ride on SXS are open to sleds. The trails are basically completely different when riding on SXS or sled. The same trail can provide completely different experiences depend on the machine. I agree, snowmobile season is short compared to ATV season most of the time.
@@richspink1860 - I wonder if it is possible for the Ridge Runners to work with the ATV community when it comes to trail maintenance. BIG group working for the same thing. Some of those trails had lots of BIG rocks etc.
@@mikebrouillette6087 I think they do work together on some projects. After last summer’s floods they probably helped each other. I sure that the clubs have many members of both clubs.
Lake Francis looks like a beautiful place to stop and have a packed lunch. You gave me a great idea to bring a squeegee and a spray bottle with water on my next ride.
Thanks! I usually stay at the Buck Rub. Access to trails but it can be a rough section of trail but not too bad. Bear Rock Adventures Lodging is another one. Also Tall Timber Is right on trail and easy access. Enjoy your trip. I’m sure you will have a great ride!
I love it when sledders see themselves in the videos! No problem, I always pull over and let those behind me pass. I never want to slow up the sleds behind me. That was a great day to ride. Now I’m looking forward to ATV riding. Hope to see you out there next season. Thanks for watching!
@@richspink1860 those 550 was great never owned one but my friend use to have one and it was fun ! me i just bought a 1992 artic cat panther 440 for 300$ great engine i did fuel line and choke cable and it drive verry good so sad the snow was not there this year its already over here ( gaspesie canada )
Was up there the same week got some good riding in stayed right on back lake you drove right past the house we rented probably crossed paths at sometime we rode all those trails for 4 days

Nice ride to end the season, must have been about 2 weeks ago,mid February Maybe, that’s the last time we had a good ride too. I’ll be up there on the 16th, snow or no snow.
Yeah, it was Presidents’ Day mid week. Beautiful day for a ride. I got lucky 🍀 with trail conditions that week. Good luck when you are up there. Hopefully they get some snow! ❄️
Sometimes it is a little thin south of Pittsburg. I’ve had good luck last few years on the trails south. I have more videos coming out soon showing my trail ride south. A few bare spots but overall the trails south were excellent this trip. Thanks for watching.
Was also up there for Presidents Day trails were great Sunday, Monday, Tuesday some were a little rough on Wednesday afternoon other then that had a great time

Trails were pretty good today in the morning in the Indian Stream area. But there was a lot of traffic today and the afternoon ride around First Connecticut was a little rough . Hopefully they’ll get more snow. But still good riding to be had.
I appreciate your videos showing UTVS tackling the trails. I'm glad that Maine has a 65 inch limit on their trails. I don't like seeing those over-powered race buggies flying through the woods!
Not sure. Photos of a group of guys we rode with a couple of times. They were friends of my brother. I’ll ask him. Photos are from 40 years ago. Looking forward to getting back up there!
Thanks. The Ranger 500 is a great UTV for a ride through the woods. All I really do is low speed trail riding. I just like being out on the trail enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Thanks for watching.
