Lol! I have a similar setup on my 02, 3.2 liter 6 speed Boxster S, with a Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust, Evolve CAI, Plenum/TB, catless headers etc. I can attest that it sounds absolutely savage in the most delightful way!😂
I want to buy my son a Miata/Fit/Cooper/Golf and fix as necessary (slow car). the fact you bought it for him vs him using his own money means he should be grateful, even if it's a dud....I had a '72 Datsum 510 wagon 3spd auto as first car when I got my license. This Mazda is miles ahead, even w/the mismatched door and things....
That sounds like a kick ass first car. However, I've had a couple of minis and they are really rough to work on and frequently need to take the A frame off. But yea, honestly, the Mazda was also partially for me to tinker with
Man, the 4 sound effects you used really detracted from the video, I'm really upset by how perfectly timed they were. Was the glue super messy? Also, did it mess with the paint at all?
Haha. I'm seriously trying to pull dents... And have fun with it. Do you really want another boring, dry video explaining car things? If so I'll tank my retention time and make a "how to" video just for you. :)
I appreciate that! But it's definitely ok if he doesn't like it. Not every video is for everyone. Though I am highly considering making a monotone video for the laughs.
You need plywood. Get some thin stuff, so it's light. Cut it into manageable sizes. Also get yourself some 3/4" thick 16" square pieces to set jacks or jack stands on. 3/4" flooring plywood that is 2' wide and about 5 feet long would work for a floor jack. Don't leave it in the dirt when you're not using it, and store it inside if possible. Check with people at construction sites to see if you can have some drops. Their junk is your gold.
Plywood. Tarps. Cardboard as you have but more. Just be sure to get it all up when you’re done otherwise the dew will soak everything or the rain could soak it and it’s no fun working in puddles. Could get some couch cushions or some 1-2” memory foam.
Yea but if I do concrete then I'd have to get a permit for it in my county. Plus if I do a slab I would end up doing it for a garage which makes it that much more expensive. But I get what you're saying.
My theory as to why this happens: i think the hazard signal is part of two circuits, one for the left side and one for the right. The turn signal is just closing only one of the hazard circuits, so it only turns on one side
Its bitch of a job it is to get the gudgeon pin and retaining clips in to the other side of the engine Did a boxter last week You have to Line up the rod and piston perfectly hope the rod doesn’t jump The slowly feed the pin through the entire block on a long ass tube hope it fits nicely then do the same with the clip only wishing that it doesn’t ping of again and get lost in the crank case😢 If it does, the yeet the engine of the stand and send your self abroad for a nice vacation 😮 (nice little tip for mechanics if you fuck up)
