Come on, pal, rev that Cleveland! I had a '72 Cougar 351cj, the same base engine as this. It would SCREAM up to 6000 rpm. Properly blueprinted, these engines will do 7k. They are not torque monsters, they like to be revved!
that is the most ridiculous seating position I have ever seen you have the center of the steering wheels literally between your knees it looks like you're driving a lawnmower or a horse
Nobody builds em like Dave Rebello :) The driver was UNDER driving the car for most of the video, these motors really sing from 3000-6500rpm. They would like to be driven hard all the time but...law enforcement doesn't agree. I've had more tickets in my Rebello Z than any other Z I've owned ( no surprise there ) With horsepower in the low 300's ( more than double stock ) in a 2300 pound car it is a real fun ride i'm sure.
One of my favorite cars but to much engine and drive train noise for me ! I love my Marauder , put the cruise control on 80 and go all day long !….. Thanks for sharing !….
Looks like your knees are almost touching the steering wheel - looks very uncomfortable - I'm 5'9" so I should be fine I guess. Wouldn't want to buy one online without sitting in it first (test drive). I know of a person who bought one on BAT and surrendered his deposit because he went to get the car before paying for it in full and said he worked out and he got too big for the car (hard to believe, but he lost $5K)
