Yes ma’am, lovely bride sure does take mighty good care of me. Cooking is definitely not something I’m very good at but she makes it as easy as possible doing so much of the work beforehand and then sending me with very detailed instructions! Welcome to the channel! I sure appreciate you coming over and checking out what we do! Truly means a lot! The mosquitoes were awful on this trip. We had two thermocells and a camp fire with some punky wood going (to create extra smoke) just to keep them off of us. The lantern on the table was just a gas lit lantern from FireMaple that I absolutely love for the ambiance it gives.

I have not heard of that brand of hammock before. You seem to stump me with gear brands I have never heard of regularly. Looks reasonably similar to my Hammock Gear Circadian though.
I hadn’t heard of them until last October but I’ve got two of their hammocks (one with and without a bug net) and absolutely love them! Never tried Hammock Gear but I follow them and all of their stuff looks really awesome! You melt your boots soles down in Texas at all?
@@oldsouthernpine They melted a bit one day exploring Salado but I caught some plague somewhere along the way flying down so I didn't get to do much. We had plans to hike several places, but I just wasn't up to it. I didn't even make it to the army surplus stores being that close to Ft Cavazos. I'm hoping to head back for Thanksgiving and hopefully see all the things. Hammock Gear makes great custom gear, plus they are semi-local so that's a plus too for me.

And we watched some of your videos, some of Foresty Forests videos, and some Camping with Steve. Apparently, she only likes Camping with Steve videos and outdoor videos with campers with floofs.

I see a lot of things you can do to cut down weight like the leather around the propane tank. Go check lighterpack you will see in my description I have 3 setups. This is free and the site allows you to get really precise and helps you see what you carry.
