Hi Alisha, thank you so much for the update. I have a doubt like my OET will be expiring in April 2025 and my DL will expire in sept 2025 so if I don't get job before my OET validity then I have to reappear for OET again or they will consider my DL validity. Please let me know I'm so stressed. Thanks once again.

Hi, it depends upon your hospital and department. Most of the hospitals have tunic and trousers or scrubs. Yes, you can wear hijab. Sorry, I am not sure about the cost as it varies upon which exam is being offered to you.

You’re welcome. As I understand, the NMBI and HSE are separate authorities. NMBI is the Nursing Council in Ireland, responsible for issuing a Decision Letter (DL) after verifying your education and experience. The DL is the outcome of an assessment of your application against the standards and criteria necessary for recognizing qualifications in General Nursing in Ireland. NMBI cannot withhold a decision based on the job market. For example, state nursing councils in India cannot deny your registration or renewal based on the job market. They have established their own criteria for registration and PIN renewal. This is similar to nursing councils in other countries. Even there are limited job opportunities, nursing councils will not prevent you from taking exams like the CBT, OSCE, or NCLEX.

Hi, sorry to hear about it. As mentioned in the video, there is an ongoing appeal and protest for the same. Whenever they will uplift the freeze, priority will be given to the nurses who are already being selected.

Alisha ma'am I have a question to ask This years of experience which you have mentioned in the video will not be deducted to half As it is done in the NHS for instance, if someone has 6 years of experience out of European country they consider that as 3 years. Does this also apply to Ireland?
