When I can function again. I have a pinched nerve and bulging disc in my back. This combo prevents me from standing more than like 3 minutes. Thursday it will have been 4 weeks.
Spin butt... I have to admit with the shorts I wear (sown in liners, because I'm not one to wear the Jock straps that the gym provides) I have never been that "well done" in the seat. So the spandex type liner or similar should help. Spin shoes. Yes they're a game changer as it helps with more of the pull action up on the pedal and you can generate more power. With that said, the instructor at my gym is a hockey coach and just uses regular shoes. He puts up far larger numbers that I do in watts and distance.
I eat the Atkins protein bars. They taste like candy bars. 13 gms protein, 3 gms cargs, 1 gm sugar, 9 gm fiber = 160 calories. get a big box of different flavors on Amazon
I know you are on your own path, but with NSNG (no sugar no grains), you can eat some of your favorite foods and still lose weight. Alcohol is usually a deal breaker, but I too over indulged over the weekend. BUT like you said, get on the bike and start pedaling. BTW, examples of food I can eat. Bacon, sausage, cheese, veggies, chicken, fish, anything without grains or sugars. I don't know if you drink coffee or not, but I gave up diet coke for coffee. A "french press" cold coffee maker with heavy cream has been a life saver for me. I still have a long way to go on my journey, and would like nothing more than someone to help me along. I don't know what plan you are on, but I can speak very highly of how easy it is to stay on the NSNG way of eating. I am here to help. Again, I mention, I was drinking way more than usual over the weekend, and I don't care who you are, that will bite you. Great job so far. You got this!
@@walnut33 last time I mention this, if you have trouble and want some guidance, I am confident I can help and you won't be hungry, or feeling deprived. Your comment about tying your shoes in the other video strikes home with me. I had the trouble. No more! I am not perfect at this, but I had a buddy to help me along, and I want to pay it forward if I can. Let me know. Cowboy OUT!
It happens. You aren't going to be great all the time. Just get back on the horse and move forward. It's impossible to be perfect. Also, STOP fucking weighing yourself every day. Pick 1 day a week at a certain time with the same conditions. I do sunday AM, wearing boxers. Treat it like a science experiment. You have to have a baseline control portion
My advice. Don't weigh yourself daily. Do it once a week. Same time, same day. I do sundays right when I get up. Day to day can swing too much on water, etc...
Good report. Its good to have friends that keep you "honest". I have a couple of people I work with that meet up with me at the gym during lunch. If it wasn't for my friend Shilo, I probably wouldn't have done spin classes this long.
@@walnut33 Miss the vent days as well, Spin is a monster, but at the end of class I'm a dripping mess and feeling great. Been doing it twice a week for cardio (strength/circuit other days) for nearly 6 years
Love that you have a reward planned for yourself!! I would suggest having some smaller "rewards" along the way such as every 20 pounds lost to keep you motivated along the way.
Love this!! Mark and I started intermittent fasting a few days ago. I'm really liking it so far! It hasn't been easy, but definitely can tell it will be worth it. I am reading a book called Delay, Don't Deny by Gin Stephens. I would highly recommend it; it's a quick read and has lots of easy-to-understand info!
