So awesome. it seems I myself have heavily underestimated what you can do with the car design for these, though I admit I'd like to see CDX do an invert and also offer the "wooden coaster" with brown supports (like there KI-only son of beast model does).
Really cool concept/design. It reminds me of the large Dinn Corporation style twisters, or the twisted twins before it became non-dueling but still good RMC "Storm Chaser." I know this video is 5 years old so maybe you got the lego motor, the CDX plug in motor, or the newest battery powered one, just thought I'd list that off cause the last one is the cheapest by far. Also thank you because though it may never happen I hope CDX releases brown support sets like King Island's exclusive mini "Beast" set has (after years of existing too, though at least other parks have begun carrying other ride sets from them for basically the same price as the website minus things like season pass/membership perks of course). Anyways if I could have one with brown supports I'd get another (or 2) sets to make something like this different enough from the cyclone model I have (rethemed with a different name and other stuff done to it or not XD).
@@n0t_c00l4 honestly the speed didn't bother me. It was the straight down sudden drops that got me. My whole family was out of our seats because of it.
It's not there anymore. It has been moved to Indiana Beach in Monticello IN and should open in a month or so. No idea whether or not they'll run it at full tilt like they did in Mexico. Fingers crossed.
ik this comment is from a year ago or so but the official website is rarely totally sold out unless it's like, the holiday season. I think they have been producing more and easier post-2020 as well as expanding into rides now too (tea cups look great tbh).
It's kinda hard to steal something from a channel you've never heard of. Also, I just went to his channel and looked. There's not a single CDX coaster video on there. The only video even remotely similar to mine is the one where he made the Lego coaster... which was posted in Aug of this year. This one was posted in April of 2020. So if there's any "dirty thief" around here, it's him, not me. :-P
Ik track is designed to sway and all but not BY A FUCKING FOOT usually it’s by a couple of centimeters or inches at MOST but not a full foot and then some
However, the wobble and the derailment had nothing to do with each other whatsoever. The derailment wasn't caused by a failure of the track or supports - in fact, the train had already cleared all three loops before it derailed. The problem was a failure of the wheel bogies on the last car - a fate which also happened to the almost-brand-new Mindbender in Canada (same manufacturer, very similar layout) back in the 80s.
wobble in rollercoaster track is normal and often necessary, as it's simply the dispersion of forces (track that is forced to stay still is likely to snap) the derailment did not have anything to do with the wobble, rather a fault of poor quality, locally-made wheel bogies as, a. at the time, there was no law in mexico stating that a park must replace parts with parts approved by the coaster's manufacturer, and b. the operations team of Quimera deciding to turn off trim brakes
@@dragunyahov I'm aware that some wobble in the track is natural, even beneficial. THIS much wobble in a track is a sign of poor maintenance and a red flag that other facets of safety are likely to also have been neglected. Since most people aren't keen enough to notice when trim brakes have been removed and wheel assemblies aren't up to snuff, a more obvious marker like a crazy amount of wobble is a good thing to look out for.
It is wobbling because the Rollercoaster is disigned to be transportable. It has a foundation which is not connect to the ground with screws like normally. The foundation of the loops are containers which are normally filled with water or sometimes with stones. But still it is a bit mich wobbling.
