Thank you for posting. My Dad was the MIC there from 1960-63. We were there When W. S. Cunningham came back to Wake "on September 14, 1962 for the dedication of the new Wake Air Terminal. He proposed that a permanent memorial to those who gave their lives in defense of Wake. Admiral Cunningham said, 'The blood of many brave men is mixed with the soil here and I look forward to the day when I can return and dedicate such a memorial.''
Wearing a cover indoors….the discipline of these marines man (sarcasm) It does make me feel better knowing that marines in the 80/90s also had to deal with sub par living conditions.
As a GWOT vet I've always been interested as to what military life was like pre 9/11 videos like these are awesome. The more things change the more they stay the same🤙
This use to be U.S military, I'm princess Ester. When the U.S. military left the wake island and the Palmera, I claimed it. Now I have the european soldier there operating the satellite wake island. I'm the Estrella that have legally claimed in the pacific and have the mining wright all over the world. My father is king Manuel of Rahm kingdom and were mining all over the world. We also have the satellite signal in Rahm kingdom.
Aww I sang this song when I was a preschooler! Im 34 years old! This song stuck in my head my whole life and this song is what played in my head when I seen racism and it kept me from ever being a part of it.
I did the same song for my pre school graduation and have always sang it since then and just remembered it today and looked it up and here it is! I'm actually in middle school now and miss the old times in preschool an elementary school. Miss it.
Simple lang ang pananamit pero maganda ang pagaawit ... okay na! :) Singers should not show too much skin like Lea Salonga did here... simple and well covered outfit is better to recognize your singing not your physique!
