Sorry, just started binge watching NCIS LA. I know he's just playing a role, but most of the time it's hard watching "C". He plays this role like a crybaby. He needs to know everything but doesn't like giving. If it weren't for Deeks and Kensi, I would stop watching.
I can see Deeks point of view I mean they should never have gone to Mexico in the first place that was Moseley's mess and she has no respect for the team or for what they do she sees them as her own personal clean up team
She only used the team to clean up a mess that she started years ago they never should've gone down there in the first place because it had nothing to do with them and it wasn't their mess to clean up it was hers

'You are a good man, Martin Deeks, a very good one' - that's it, exactly! For the most part, Deeks may be a funny guy with a fantastic wit, which he uses brilliantly throughout the show, to cheer Kensi up or to buy the team time and confuse their enemies during investigations and interrogations, but what is more important, is that deep down, Deeks is a very good, solid man with the heart of gold, compassionate and not afraid to show his softer side, which is how you know he is also truly manly - because he is not insecure about his softer side. And this is why Kensi fell in love with him, he is a great guy all around! The need to help and protect people, especially weaker ones who are in big danger, we can assume, comes from these traumatic, early childhood experiences, when Deeks was forced to shoot his own abusive father to protect his mother and himself! And I love that the show started exploring the more serious side of Deeks in later seasons although they should have used Deeks even more in situations like this one, coz in these kinds of dramatic cases Deeks, his true essence - really shined. Eric Christian Olsen shined in these storylines as well, as an actor, he is a very talented actor not just in comedy, but in serious drama as well! This scene is beautiful, and I love how Kensi uses Deeks' full name here: 'Martin Deeks' - because it somehow highlights Deeks' true, wonderful nature and courage, it's like Kensi suddenly, in that one moment, dropped the smokescreen of jokes and just wanted to confess from the bottom of her heart what makes Deeks a great man and the love of her life. It was a little wonderful moment of genuine love and understanding, and showing their true, natural connection. I love them! One of the best written and best developed, and the best portrayed TV couples ever!
@rafsolo lol, what? Deeks is not shy or reserved here at all! He is his funny, charming, witty self, having his brilliant banter with Kensi and Hetty already, he just feels more out of place because yes, it was the beginning and he was getting to know everyone, had to adapt to the team, but that's it. He is also maybe a little more serious because again - they weren't friends here, they were still strangers working together. But he already shows his charm here.
Deeks and Kensi were the most perfect, most beautiful couple in the history of all of NCIS - yes, much better than Tony and Ziva - and one of the best in the history of all of television. They had amazing chemistry, which fortunately wasn't wasted by the screenwriters, dragging out the 'will they/won't they' phase too long or putting them together too quickly. Densi's timeline was perfect! During the process of writing TV couples, screenwriters usually make one of these two mistakes: either they put a couple together too early and the story runs out of steam quickly, and then they have to create some fake problems and stupid drama in the relationship of such a couple, or - what is worst, and especially annoying - they drag out the flirting and 'will they/won't they' phase too long, then suddenly one of the actors leaves the show, and as a result, it ends in a big nothing, which after the entire, usually amazing build-up, is a huge disappointment for the fans, and that's exactly what happened with Tiva!! 10 years and literally nothing except some hand touches, one kiss, and suddenly the actress leaves. It sucks, and it's also very unrealistic regarding how romance/love works in the first place. When you are in the prime of your life, if you love someone, special agent or not, there is no way that a man or a woman (but especially a man) would wait 10 damn years to make any real move, like confessing his love and wanting sex. Life is too short to wait this long to say the words 'I love you, I want you' and play some stupid games like high school-level flirting. And that was Tiva, and that's why, honestly, Tiva sucks! Fans really don't care what happened off-screen, as we didn't see it, so it doesn't count, or at least it doesn't have the same weight, meaning and joy as when we - as fans - can watch the whole process of our fav fictional couple flirting, falling in love, getting together, then the honeymoon period of their relationship, then maybe some problems but ultimately a wedding and happy life together, a happy ending. Deeks and Kensi had all of it, including some absolutely amazing dramatic scenes of saving each other on the job, and what's more important - all of it happened exactly at the right time: flirty phase seasons 2- 4, sleeping together for the first time and some great angst and drama in season 5, getting together for good in season 6, and then all kinds of cute, lovely scenes during honeymoon phase, then amazing era of fighting the obstacles - exciting storylines, wedding in season 10, and then 4 more seasons of being together and having a baby at the end! Pure perfection! This is why they are the best couple! Tiva got ruined and had nothing compared to Densi, it's just a fact. This is why some Tiva shippers are so bitter and attack the Densi fandom, because they got nothing but disappointment from the writers, and Densi got it all great, so Tiva people are jealous lol. I know that not long ago CBS announced the Tony&Ziva spin-off, but If I were their fan, I honestly wouldn't be happy. It's too little, too late, the actors got much older, the excitement is not the same, and it all has a lame vibe to it, it's like the creators& the writers tell the fans: 'We teased you with Tiva for more than a decade and gave you one on-screen kiss, then a lot of important stuff happened off-screen and you were told about it but you didn't really see it, so now, years later, when Tony and Ziva are past their primes, we are finally gonna show you their romance and relationship fully on-screen' - sorry but lame af! I know there are still hardcore Tiva fans who are and will be very happy with this and will watch it, but I guarantee many others won't watch. Anyway, I'm so happy I was always an NCIS LA and Densi fan, not a fan of the original NCIS and Tiva. One part of it was, that I just couldn't get into it as I didn't love Tony and Ziva actors that much, and wasn't all that impressed with their chemistry, plus I didn't exactly love the team on the original NCIS, don't know why, I just didn't like it. But the other big part of it was also the fact that when I started watching it (at the time the show had been on air for many years already), and then checked what happened with Tiva in the next few seasons out of curiosity, and found out that nothing really happened - I couldn't get into it, exactly because I hate writers teasing me like that and then give me nothing! Whereas I fell in love with the NCIS LA team and the vibe of the show right from the beginning, and after Deeks joined them in season 2 for good, I totally fell in love with his and Kensi's partnership. And they didn't ruin it, thank god!! NCIS LA producers, writers, and actors gave it all to us, and created an amazing story with Deeks and Kensi! All other TV writers, especially the writers of cop/criminal/detective procedurals, should watch and study Densi as an example of how to write healthy, amazing, exciting workplace romance on such types of shows!
