We are a golf couple living in St Andrews. We currently both play off a handicap of +2, with the goal to reach +4.
We're on a mission to film at and play the 18 courses on The Old Tom Morris Trail. Currently we have completed 2/18. We also want to showcase some of the affordable hidden gems around the UK that are accessible to everyone.
On this channel you can expect lots of content from St Andrews, along with many course vlogs from our travels throughout the UK. We will also be detailing our golfing journey through tournament and practice vlogs.

Cams golf started by mine but didn’t resemble it again until he lost his ball on the 8th. Really enjoying these videos - good golf and like the competition and views
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate that😊 we actually had to postpone this challenge by a day because the original date we'd planned it did just rain and rain all day hahahah
you guys mention in the caption about G's day job - i just assumed you were full time golf (i now see incorrectly). it would be interesting to see inside of what 'normal' life looks for you two living in St Andrews
We struggled a bit - we were a couple under after like 9/10 holes, but then the weather just turned completely. Rain, hail, sideways 40mph winds lmao. Ended up maybe 6 or 7 over, can't remember the exact score but pretty sure we just bogeyed most of the holes in unfortunately
Hahahah unfortunately there was no baked good delivery from Yorkshire this round!! We tee'd off so early as we were golfing that afternoon too, but we didn't see anyone else out on the course until we reached the 7th green!
So awesome to meet you both and playing together the day before your adventure. Will ensure all the guys get it too. Looking forward to watching all your future adventures. Be well. Jeff
What an adventure. I don't know why you thought about not publishing or doing voiceover, this vid is so great and genuine. Level par after 72 in 1 day is a big achievement. Plus, if I look at your interaction after 72 holes of golf and probably walking 20 miles or so, I think there is a very good chance you two will still be playing happily together once you reach our age 😊
@@rondekoning thankyou!! We honestly just thought the video was a bit rubbish because we were so tired when filming it😆 but we were so happy to complete the challenge! I very much hope that is the case🥰
Really enjoyed watching this series, fantastic effort, not just completing 72 holes but playing some excellent golf along the way. You should be very proud. Well done
It was good to see the highs and lows of this last round and how much it meant to you both. Well done, great effort and remarkable achievement. It brought back lovely memories of playing some of these courses with you ⛳️😎❤️
@@GillianHirst-bq7lc thankyou 😊 we were just pleased to be able to complete the challenge 😅 we’ll get some more rounds together on the St Andrews courses very soon!❤️
Thankyou! Glad the videos came across your RU-vid feed and that you're enjoying them😊 we're very much still working this thing out but just enjoying making the videos!!

Goal #3, I can relate to that, lost 4 balls on the first 5 holes during my last round. Ingrid says I better buy 100 lake balls... Indeed looks like a tricky course, with these gorse bushes all over the place. Plus already having played 2 other courses, I can understand you "hit a brick wall". But at least you had sunshine 🙂
@@steviehutch9681 hahahah yes unfortunately you are correct! The Eden seems to have struggled recently with its greens. We were mega impressed with the Strath though, they felt luxury in comparison 😆
One of my most favourite golf courses and where I learned to golf when I was a young lad on holidays . So much fun to play and you need to shape shots into the wind when it blows. Well-done ⛳👍
@CGgolfs We holidayed in the area for a number of years staying at a marvellous village called Gardenstown. Well worth a visit. It's near a place called Pennan which was the setting for the film Local Hero, also nearby is Portsoy the setting for the remake of Whisky Galore.
‘I’ve only gone, and dropped the pen on the floor’. I feel like G is so chaotic (in the best way) and cams just so there for it 😂 you two seem like a really well matched couple 💘
Yes, what a run he had over the last 4 holes. But 16th, never knew the Scottish hide their sprinklers in the tall grass 😂. What a fantastic few holes along the coast, I could sit their for hours without hitting a ball...
I was so confused as to why there was a sprinkler there?! but fair enough I guess😅 we were so pleased to see him win 👏🏼 but yes we were the same, that entire stretch along the coast is so beautiful!
oh amazing! how did you find the courses? were wanting to head back to both of them tbh, we really enjoyed them😊 so glad the videos helped! we had no idea where we were going on some of the holes, could have done with watching someone else’s course vlogs beforehand😆

That was a fun round. "Better than Rory", he won't like that 😅. The ball that dropped after a decade. Hole 12 "my best ball" 😂. The drive on 16. Chilling on the fairway (4-ball ahead of you?) ⛳. Really enjoyable video and you both have such a fluent swing. Oh and I wish I could putt like G 😢 . Great challenge playing 72, I would even struggle to simply walk the distance...
Thank you Ron! We really enjoyed this round :) I honestly still can't believe that ball went in hahaha. Yes it was a 4-ball ahead, they offered to let us go through but they had a couple more 4-balls in front so we just stayed where we were. It was nice just to sit down for a little bit though so we didn't mind 😂 Putting was hot this day! We were ok on the actual day, it was the next day we really felt it 😅
The Cullen Bay Hotel used to do a Cullen Skink where the fish was marinated in Spiced Rum for 48 hours, it was amazing. Good luck with your channel 👍 Do you know that Tain is also a Tom Morris course?
@@myoung7654 that sounds incredible! Thankyou :) Yeah; both Tain & Royal Dornoch are on the list! Cam has played both but I’ve only played the two courses at Dornoch so really excited for when we manage to get over there. Our summer is absolutely packed but our next Tom Morris course is due to be Nairn, and we’re hoping to try play a few different courses around it while we’re there too🤩
