So realistically if it wasn't for the R33, Paul Walkers love for import JDM & Skylines wouldn't exist. I hope the R33 gets a good name because of this fact which no one talks about online. It's always the R34 getting the hype when the R33 is a better car overall

Thanks for posting this Jose! Funny how he mentioned, as do so many others involved with the OG Fast & Furious, how they were so caught off guard with the popularity of the first film & the *impact* it is still making on car culture. #ForPaul
ikr. give Craig props.. he's still got his foothold in the scene.. even re-invented himself with the new RU-vid Channel Fast and Furious *Facts* and the book, etc. I'm glad someone like him is sharing the TRUE facts and knowledge for new generations to know and learn!
Fun fact, Paul didn't own that particular R34, he first owned a silver MotoRex r34, sold that one back to MotoRex then bought the white V-Spec 2. This R34 was owned by Craig Lieberman and it later became the 2Fast 2 Furious GTR
Thats right, so goes the story. My downstairs neighbor was working on the set here in Miami and gifted me a backstage pass (it's dark green, says "2Fast2Furious" Crew) I remember watching this interview only once way back when, on Mun2 "Adrenalina" sports show... Someone linked me to this video this morning and man brought back so many memories, can't believe it's been a few years since he passed...sigh, he did so much for tuner culture and getting people interested in cars again, 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Rest In Power Paul
