Great stuff ! Have gone up to Key River for a very long time ( 1970's ) . To me it epitomizes The Canadian Shield and it's rugged landscape . Just far enough north too so that you can find solitude and peace if that's what you're seeking .Knew the previous owners of Camp Dore well ( The Crawfords ) . Love camping and fishing up there . Large walleye , pike and bass if you know where to fish , the whole area looks so " fishy ".l believe a potential record breaking musky is out there somewhere around The Bustards and The French River delta !!
Thanks for sharing! The area is one of a kind for sure. We launched at Camp Dore and the owners are very welcoming. I’ve never met the previous owners. It’s such a cool ride from the river out to the open and the Bustards. We kayaked camped the French River a number of years ago and I wish I had the drone back then.
I only found out about the fireworks that day. I wish I had practiced night flying more because I was really under exposed. Could barely see all the boats in the harbour and that’s hard to see on the contrôlée screen. Lesson learned for next time
