I'm interested in new master plan communities in the area between NB and Canyon Lake, Gruene, homes by Lake Dunlap or Comal River. Won't be for a while until I'll buy a home, but I am looking around at those areas.

I grew up here as well and haven’t been aware of what you’re speaking about. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Not sure where your data comes from, but would like to know the credible source. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I hope you’re happy where you’re at :)
@@MovingToNewBraunfels There are positives too. Maybe you will love it there. I have lived there but my brother and family lived there for years and raised daughters and granddaughters so my info is accurate. Have a nice day.
@@kendobbs4560 I went to high school here in Seguin, so I understand what kids go through locally. Yes, there are many good things here and many people enjoy raising families here. You have a great day as well :)
The things I miss are barbecue Mexican food especially guacamole Whataburger and Shiner Bock I currently live 3 mi from the Canadian border guacamole is out of the question there is virtually no barbecue and I can actually get Shiner Bock but it's like 1415 bucks a six pack
I'm sure this is a lovely place to live and that the people who live here are wonderful. But, if you are a woman who may become pregnant, DO NOT GO TO OR MOVE TO TEXAS! If something goes wrong, you could be denied care due to anti-abortion laws. Your life is in danger in Texas! It is not worth your life to set foot there!
@@ypcomchic this community does have and HOA. If there are amenities in the community like this, then there is most likely an HOA. There are communities without HOAs. Cost of living can definitely vary from state to state, so I understand how job pay is a large consideration when moving. Thank you for watching and for your input.

Do NOT go there if you are PREGNANT. If you have an emergency in any trimester, you might not get out of Texas alive; and if you do, and need an abortion to save your life, whoever helped you leave could be sued. DON'T BE PREGNANT IN TEXAS!!

Considering moving from Austin to New Braunfels. Always enjoyed it when we visit. My mother got a Parkinson’s diagnosis this last year, and I need to move to a city with a slightly slower pace of life and at least slightly cheaper housing costs so I can afford a house that would accommodate my family plus my Mom. I’m a small business owner in Austin, so I can’t go too far away…New Braunfels looks like a prime candidate. Thanks for the video. 🍻

What's the guy won't tell you about New Braunfels is, the city refuses to build New Roads or widen current roads, driving there is an absolute traffic backup nightmare!
I hope you’re having a wonderful day! The city is actually widening many roads all over New Braunfels. I drive them daily and see the progress. Every city, every where, with growth experiences this need. Thank you for your concern.
I would love to invest and retire here eventually. These homes are very enticing, ngl. I just need to overcome some issues with life in order to make a move 🤣.
