LOL. That's a great little video! I have just hired a new lady & she did her first shift last Thursday. She worked back 15 minutes so I told her to edit her timesheet. She says 'Oh no, it's ok. And I said no & pointed to a desk thing that says on it "BOSS LADY". Hahahaha. 🤣So she had to add the 15 minutes I said or I wouldn't approve her hours. hehehe. 😂I got the sign from Office Works & it works every time. My workers are worth every cent they earn & should be paid for overtime 💞

Good question as insurance can be a tricky thing. Worker's comp is workers compensation. If you work for a company, your employer is obliged to have workers compensation insurance to cover you if you are injured on the job. As a sole trader you are not obliged to insure yourself. Here's some useful info on this www.icare.nsw.gov.au/employers/who-needs-workers-insurance/who-needs-a-policy#gref Having said that, any work undertaken by an independent support worker via the Mable platform is covered by Mable's insurance policy. My girlfriend is a support worker. They screw you into doing sleepover shifts that earn you around $74 from 11pm to 7am according to Shad’s award. Not much to be away from your home and family all night. Wear your car out driving clients all over town for bugger all compensation. Organisations generally care about the clients welfare but couldn’t give a stuff about their workers. It’s disgraceful
This agency demands workers to be vaccinated not just with poisonous C19 mRNA experimental vaccine but flu vax as well. If not, bye bye. These Australian agencies are now like nursing homes...filled with international workers. What a sad old world we live in. No Love. Money is God.

I'm sorry but the woman speaking from the get go (thumb nail) looks completely drained and zapped of all life....my kid doesn't need another adult caring for them who also appears as exhausted as his parents lol.
I thought the same, but after working in a "caring" role for a long time I looked like her too. Somehow the people you care for have such control over you and everything you do for them that the work can become toxic and you become a shell of yourself.
