Good Job. My first time facing him was w 2 friends on a buddy's 8th playthrough. It took 3 of us an hr to take him out. Close to 100k health, and 1 shitting us from the start. Super memorable boss fight.🎉
I appreciate it. Yeah he was definitely a handful. The multiple variations of status effects along with his high aggression was a pain to deal with. He just spammed a lot and gave few windows to actually attack him. In general I’ve noticed that the DLC bosses have been super spammy so far.
No really? I didn’t know, I definitely never seen his videos or anything. Good thing I said that I was “dealing Asmongold damage” and not “running an Asmongold build.”
He was playing Elden Ring back when it first came out and of course! So basically the joke was simply that Asmon’s character dealt exceptional damage against bosses (as he was over-leveled against quite a bit of them). It wasn’t actually to the extent as shown in this video, but it was still quite high. If you ever watch his videos of him fighting Maliketh and other bosses, you’ll see what I mean lol.
@@NutDepartmentI meant that I was way over-leveled for this boss. And I had to use a ton of summons and mods against Rick, and even then he just ended up walking out of the arena just to be nice and give me the “win” lol
A very popular take. And I mean, any boss becomes very readable after you’ve beaten the game lol. This was also my first time beating the game. Isshin wasn’t that hard for me either. Even now after not playing Sekiro in months, I could still hop on and beat him fairly quickly.
It is not random. If you consume three imbilicial cords (there are only three in the whole game), you will be chosen by the Moon Presence and will have to fight it. This is from the game Bloodborne (2015).
Yeah he’s definitely a very solid and challenging boss. Obviously the same boss as in the beginning of the game but with some very clear upgrades. He reminds me of Champion Gundyr from Dark Souls 3. Few new dangerous moves and much more aggression.
Very annoying boss fight makes me sling my controller around every playthrough. Fromsoft interns owe me a new controller after this abomination. Finna sue. 😂 Much respect winning with classic sword and board build liked and subbed
Thank you! I appreciate that. Lol yeah they suck. I have no idea what possessed them to make a boss fight like that. Very little opportunities to isolate either of them and they have poison that damages your health as it causes buildup. Yeah for some reason I’ve used that build in all Souls games. I have this thing I do where I stick with my starting build and complete the whole game like that. At first it was kinda just a preference thing, but over time it became sort of my own unique challenge for myself.
He actually only hit me once, but for some reason he did much more damage than usual. I guess you take extra damage if you get hit in the air, but it’s still weird that he one-shot me at full health like that.
@@corvettezr1-13 Red Wolf of Radagon was a quick kill but still took me 7 attempts and drove me mad lol his sporadic moves reminded me of Pontif's pets in ds3, ended up needing to get him to fight me against a wall to auto block attacks and the magic stuff lol.
@SolasComposer Yeah his magic made him tricky. He honestly reminded me of Sif though with the way he moved around with the sword. I even basically called him a Sif reskin just because of the similarities lol
That was pretty cool. This is kinda why we play. You know? Not many of us gonna post no hit clips. But this we can all identify with. I thought you were gonna take them all down, plus the sheep.
Yeah lol I know what you mean. Like those are cool too and I’ve done my share of things like that, but I always make sure to save funny moments like this.
It reminds me of Skyrim. Like whenever one of the lower level dragons would attack in the areas where giants were present, just run to the giant and have it fight the dragon lol.
i actually think Nameless King is a perfect Dark Souls Boss. He's not too fast but also not too slow. idk different people, different experience i guess.
