Marilyn is nothing but trouble and really screwed George up, and has numerous times since. George even bought him a house and then he was on about how he never did anything for him, also hitting up fans for money. I hope George finally cut all ties.
Don't know how you do it David, but am so glad that you do. The song was already hauntingly beautiful, and you made it even more so Thank you so much for posting and sharing with all of us. The work that you do here takes us a long way, and is so enjoyable. ❤
I have a request for you, do you have the interview of George with richard blade back in 1983 doing a promo? someone else had uploaded this, but was taken down :( I think the show was called Video Beat??
This show was not at the Tower theater. It was at Spectrum in Philadelphia. Much bigger arena. I WAS THERE! Great seeing it again after all these years. Thanks for sharing. I didn’t read all the comments, so If it was already stated that it was at The Spectrum sorry.
I was hoping there would be more full clips of the Waking Up with the House On Fire tour, because I wanted to see them perform “Hello Goodbye”! Thank you so much for uploading this!
Yes! I live for "Hello Goodbye." I consider it to be the companion piece to both "The Dive" and "Don't Talk About It." They are the funkiest songs on the entire album. Also, can't forget the highly rhythmic, "Dangerous Man." While it's true that I adore every song listed on the album, those four I usually play on repeat. And "War Song!"
Awesome video - THANK YOU so much for creating and uploading it!! I cant believe this is just weeks/months after the Australian Tour in July 1984 (See "Live in Sydney DVD") and they are so different, and already had a new album and back on tour! Crazy!
20代のBoy Georgeがいちばん好きです。現在の彼と同一人物に見えないのは私だけでしょうか? I liked him the most in his twenties. Am I the only one who thinks he doesn’t look like the same person now?
