How much power do B58’s gain from catless downpipe? Ive raced stock M340i/M440i’s/M240i’s in my 350z and beaten them so curious to see how much they gain from just downpipes untuned
This is actually a great question. Originally stock I would race this same camaro and it would beat me on top end. M340is have great power down low but they lack mid range and top end. Once I put the catless downpipe in, it instantly felt way faster. Midrange and top end improved tremendously. This race was that same day I installed the downpipe. Before that same camaro would beat me about a car length. So yea my butt dyno says it might’ve gained 50hp give or take . What mods you have on your Z? I used to have a 350z DE motor and I upgraded to a 370z. Any Z beating any B58 is a fast Z.
Had mine for over a year 2 months after buying it i went stage 1 bm3 2 months after stage 1, i went stage 2 2 months after that i went custom e50 tune Pushing 530whp with only a dp, cai, charge pipe and a awe exhaust Only problem i've ever faced is coolant leak and that was before any tune and i got it fixed free at bmw under factory warranty Great car so far

Keep em, it impresses the kiddos and you can feel u actually got something under the hood. We all already know BMW drivers made it their life quest to annoy others. (No blinking, tailgating, speeding outside schools etc.etc)

If you own one, take the time to get your car set on a lockout bc mine was almost stolen 4 weeks ago. It is incredibly easy for thieves to reprogram an OEM fob and drive your ride away.
I own this car with the AMG package and it has all the options I have now owned it for 2 1/2 years and now it’s starting to have problems. The first thing I’ve noticed was the sunroof motor went out and now having charging problems. although I did purchase a warranty, the sunroof was not covered and after complaining to the dealership, they replace the parts, but I have to pay for labor.
