Wow, your road trip looks like ours would have looked if we hadn’t pivoted! We live in Greensboro and planned to start in Mebane (2nd pronunciation is the correct one 😉). My 20 yr old daughter and I saw the traffic on Mebane exit ramp and decided to go to W-S to start. Got there around 8, waited 10 min, received passports, decided not to attempt Mebane, headed to Knoxville, arrived 12:30ish, no wait for T-shirts & stamps, off to Chattanooga and arrived 3ish, no wait for mug, snack pack & $50 credit, then off to Nashville arriving 5:30ish, no wait, received stamps for Nashville and got the $250 credit & poster, and then the $500 since they said one N.C. stamp counted for both. Our trip was pleasant with almost no lines or traffic issues. We were very lucky. Spent the night downtown Nashville, and stopped at our first Buc’ees on the way home. What a fun mother-daughter road trip we had! The FB group kept us entertained. Cheers to McKay’s Road Trippers!
