Honestly for the educational and medical benefits it’s worth it. But what are the room accommodations like ? Post COVID are we still sharing rooms during training lol ? That’s really what I want to know.
This is quite helpful coz i can study and know more before i get to the states For an immigrant like me who's planning to enter my dv lottery in about a month
I would also like to add I hear a lot about the TSA too (I think that’s the abbreviation for the thrift savings plan). Will you or have you thought about start diving into real estate on this channel as well?
I’m currently in the Air Force and have been thinking about educating people on finance. If you want to collab let me know how to reach you and we can set something up! Good video.
My recruiter did inform me because I have dependents (wife and one baby) I will receive BAH for the area I live in (Austin Tx) and I will also receive separation pay as well as BAS for my family
@@Kiaraaleema do you think the military is worth it? I have a few friends in and she said SF has the worst men as far as sexual harassment and assault goes. I’m planning on joining but i’m scared
Yeah don’t bring nothing you wouldn’t want damaged or lost. I probably wouldn’t bring any lululemons stuff but it’s up to you :)) but laundry is done as a flight they have 2-4 people collect everyone’s laundry and it gets washed as a collective. They’ll give you these white mesh laundry bags to wash undergarments In. But OCPS and pt gear gets wash with everyone else’s stuff. You’ll just have to make sure you label everything thats yours as yours.
I didnt get paid much during my firsr month at BMT but as i saw my DFAS i got paid right around the neighborhood of $2400 gross. Sadly I didn’t get BAH because i rented from my bro in SoCal. However, I did get paid decently from my civilian public sector job tho! That pay lasted for about 2 months 😊 cant really buy much during BMT other than pay for my flight/squadron memorabilia, blues cleaner fees and other necessities at the mini bx.
Ohh wow I’m glad you got paid both from the military and your civilian job!! But yes that’s very true it’s not really much you can buy in bmt thank you for sharing!!
I’m in the AFR for a reason. Over 30, unmarried, no dependents, have a great city government job with great bennies, and pursuing a plan to work for the airlines. Just graduated BMT a couple weeks ago currently in tech school.
@@KeonnahMonique they are only complete when you are on active duty orders such as BMT and technical training and any deployment order over 30 days you take up. But as a reservist, I cannot say as I am currently active duty for training. However educational, VA Loans etc are contingent upon accumulated time served. Best to consult a AFR recruiter for further details.
@@Kiaraaleema Thank you boo, I'm close to graduating in 2 weeks! Definitely, gonna post a video about the AF and give you and JodywithaY a shout out when I do!
hi pretty! just wondering, are you allowed to bring the Shick Intuition Razor? And an eyebrow razor? or can I purchase these two items at the BX while I'm at BMT? I leave last week of September. thank you in advance!
Aww thank you babe! But no I don’t believe you are allowed to bring anything sharp or in that nature. But you’ll get the chance to buy it at the BX for sure at BMT during like the later weeks. Or on the weekend! But omggg goodluck I’m excited for you you’ll definitely get through!! :))
How is it with the travel reimbursement? I am going to be based 3 hours away from where I live and my car isn't very reliable. I just wanna know if rental cars are gonna get reimbursed.
They do reimburse you especially if you are that far away but they base it off of however many miles. They did not pay for my rental car when I came on base for one weekend. Hope this helps!
