This channel is mainly focused on phone/computer/laptop repairs, I publishing them to help people repair their own devices or to fix their tech related issues, I do also sometimes review new devices, be it phones or laptops.
Sometimes I do go off topic and put up other videos that are usually car related
thanks to you, i finally got into bios and realised the guide telling me to turn off secure mode was fucking lying 😑 i hate windows 10 so much, i just want to uninstall it but they make it as difficult as possible. still, good guide 💙

Ciao , mi consigli di portarla in assistenza " dal momento vhe è nuova " o farla da me come hai fatto tu ? In assistenza dovrò aspettare una vita 😩 ciao grazie
I think i have the same laptop as yours, I am having an issue where a vertical line, black colored is present on the center-left of the screen. It is present sometimes, not there sometimes. SOmetiimes thickness is little more than usual (like 2-3 px) thick and sometimes just 1px. What can i do for this? Pls reply. Thankss
Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I know nothing about replacing computer screens, but the screen on my Asus M712D turned dark pink recently and I'm really hoping the screen replacement will fix the problem...
NBN is just another government scam isn't it.. we have FTTP and rarely ever got any download speeds over 40-50mb so once there was 2 phones, a laptop and a PS4 tryna use it it was pointless, and then to top it off optus would always pop extra usage charges on the bill! We now use a circles 4G sim (still optus network but the significantly lower pricing for waaay more data would make any problems tolerable) and use a galaxy S7 hotspot as a modem and it's never performed poorly enough to make us even consider checking the speeds, and that's with 1 (sometimes 2) laptops, 2 phones and 2 tablets connected playing games and streaming and whatever else we've gotta do. Honestly we forget the NBN thingy is even in the house until it's stupid backup battery starts beeping cuz it needs replacing 😂
@@rickstechrepairs absolutely! Optus shot themselves in the foot, i attempted to get onto one of their special 4G wifi plans last Christmas.. only to be told it's not available in my area.. and there's no 4G coverage in my area.. i told their bot it was a silly goose and proceeded with the S7 "modem" haha the kids in the optus shops used to tell us that the speeds were all dependent on the modem connected to the NBN box but we tried 3 different ones and it made no notable difference to us 🤷♀️
Blue tooth antenna? I've changed one before, but I just got a refurbished ps4 at Game Stop and all controllers are doing this. I know it's refurbished but u still expect it to work.
hi, i hope you will find my question and answers (i'm a french speaker so, sorry for my english level and please make the answer simple). 3 days ago, water infiltrated my hp Victus 16 when i was playing and i didn't noticed until the PC shut down. after that i saw a lot of messages (but ididn't got time to read them cause the PC restarted immediatly after these messages) every time i tried to reboot. after a few hours, water has evaporated and the pc started working normally. But now i have some issues when i play. every game i play now except valorant has high system latency (like 50-80ms/fps) and it drop all my fps. i precise that i have verified, installed, reinstalled all the drivers and i have the same settings. but now the games i played welled before are unplayable now. do you have a solution to fix it ?
I would suspect that the water has damaged the mainboard, it would need to be opened to and inspected probably wouldn't be a cheap fix, take it to a local computer repair store and see if they can help
@@rickstechrepairs Thanks for your reply. It's difficult to find a competent repairer where I am but I'll keep looking. it still surprises me. I tell myself that if the graphics card was damaged it should not function normally as it is. Only in game is the rendering latency extremely high. that's why I wanted to access the advanced bios settings and reset all the settings.
Linux mint cinnamon runs on this laptop like a beast. Im surprised you even get windows to boot up, usually after updating windows os runs over 4gb ram and wont get me past the blue screen of death XD
