I love mine. EXCEPT now in AUTO mode I am getting alternating screens between "Home Screen" and "Next Start Time" screen. No recent programming changes. The Home Screen should hold solid as in the video. All other settings are good as before. What am I missing?
Interesting... So on the start time, those are not the stations but the time of start only. The run times are the different stations only. That's why we only have to use one start time but different run time for each stations.. thanks
Bought two of these in June. Useless junk and already broken/not working. Wasted $40 on them and can't get a return. The company obviously has no clue what they are doing.
In the video you tell me to watch the next video but you do not give its name or number or how to get to it. This particular RU-vid channel has hundreds of orbit videos
I bought this exact Orbit timer in 2017 and it has been working great so far. Last week I switched my ISP to GFiber and I can't get it reconnected again (it keeps saying connecting). Initially I thought the problem may be caused by the fact that GFiber doesn't have a specific 2.4G band but combined with 5G. After many tries and talking to both Google and several Orbit support, eventually the Orbit support told me that my sprinkler timer is too old and I can't switch ISP because it will not reconnect. Unfortunately I already reset it so there is no way to go back. I immediately ordered a new one from Amazon and I got it connected and working in no time. As far as I can see, the new one looks same as the old one, even the model number is same too. But it has 4 programs instead of 3, and it uses Bluetooth to setup instead of relying on WiFi only. What I don't understand is how can orbit as a well-renowned company simply stop supporting this product?
0 out 5 stars- This thing will disconnect at the most inconvenient time, causing floods. I use it for my RV to fill my fresh water tank, and of course when the tank is full, you try to turn it off and it just loads forever just to give you an error message. Then you have overflowing and have to run out to the water source and manually shut it off. Not reliable at all. Happens often that this device looses connection. I suggest you look for something that is of higher quality!
Question - I set up the orbit exactly the way you explained, but I am having trouble with 2nd station. The first station starts exactly at the scheduled time but the 2nd station does not starts on scheduled time. The display shows how much time is left to start the 1st station but it does not show how much time left for 2nd station. Even when I click station button on Auto mode, it does not switch to station2. Am I missing any setting? Please suggest.
My app is unresponsive after a router problem. It displays the device offline screen like in the video under troubleshooting, but it displays Bluetooth symbol in upper left corner of screen with a slash through it. I cannot press any thing on the screen to move forward,I’ve tried deleting the app multiple times and it always revert back to the same screen and I cannot move forward at all, please help!
I want to run the sprinkle in the morning and night time but not being able to do so . Can anybody help how to set up same station with same running time but am and pm means twice a day. Thanks
I have found these to be a total pain in the a** to remove. The 'retainer' does not compress once the tubing is in place. I have had to resort to cutting them out of the line, installing a new connector, and then cutting the pieces out of the connector. Great idea, just doesn't work in practice. I won't buy any more.
This broken company is on steroids - anything they do is just awkward. They have a major issue with the quality of their China-made, sub-par, trash products. Their customer service is unacceptably RUDE and dysfunctional (had to call in 6 times to determine why they cancelled my order, and still no resolution). As proof of how sickly this company is look at this very video.... what is it about? Oh....replacing the control levers on the Orbit brass manifold, right? Hmmm but they do not make/sell those levers! What???? IDIOTS! Go figure...
Orbit, a humble suggestion: Consider making a visual example using some footage of a 2-area lawn, showing sprinklers coming on, how long they run, then shutting off, as a user programs the device. This tutorial lacks ANY relevance or context of what will happen, and how to cause that thing to happen with the un-intuitive settings. I am *completely* lost.
After watching this video programming was a breeze. Love this controller. Very versatile and flexible. Once you know how to program it, you’ll love it.
What you probably came here for us at about 1:41. Set the dial to Auto. Hit Manual. Use the right arrow to toggle through programs until it gets to the zone you want to run. Once there, hit the up arrow to add time. The trick is that you only have about seconds after you press Manual to start pressing buttons before it runs wherever you last pressed. So, if you get caught cycling through the programs and get distracted, it start running wherever you left off. Easily fixed, though: just turn the dial to off or hit Clear. Hope that helps.
I have set up my Orbit exactly as you have. They are all set to run on the "A" selection with only 1 time per day, but the system doesn't run each station one after the other. It will run station 1 on one day then station 2 on the next day etc etc. Any clues?
