Outside of making and playing video games, I am on the path of evolving my game of tennis. I love all the hard work and training it takes to make the most incremental improvements. Learning about the inner game of tennis has taught me so much about myself. I'm about a NTRP 4.0 these days, well on a good day.

@@tenniszerg It’s tough I can’t lie but I think hearing the thought process of the player is a way to connect to what they are thinking. It’s okay to be embarrassed as I still feel that way too. Anyways keep it up man

Hey Billy. This is too funny! I searched Michael Chang looking for video from today’s doubles exhibition match and found this! I’m one of the guys way to the left on (I think) Court 5!! So random. Anyway, great video I might have to look into this. Maybe I’ll see you out there next time! Mark Diver

Thanks so much for the comment! I want to try your style of voice intros at some point actually. My racket does look like yours... I think it gave me tennis elbow recently after having no issues for years. I'm currently looking at trying something else out until it fully recovers.

@tenniszerg Месяц назад
I respectfully disagree about this being 2.5 level. A lot of us are dealing with injuries and had a bit of a slow start, but there are some solid 3.5 points in there IMO. Thanks for watching!

good match dude. one thing that helped me return serves better was having my feet way farther apart than I think I need to (see how wide apart Djokovic's legs are when returning), and be ABSOLUTELY dialed in to watching the toss. I was wayy too old when I realized that I did not start watching the ball until after it was struck, but when I learned to watch the toss my returns instantly improved. cheers!
@tenniszerg
@tenniszerg 9 месяцев назад
Thanks for the comment! Those are great tips for the return. I keep thinking I have my legs super far apart when I'm returning, but then on video it looks like it's barely enough. Totally know what you mean about the toss... I'm sure that helps you time the split step better too.
