Hi, I'm Nixie and I am a doll collector and crafter.
I rediscovered my love for Barbie in 2021 when I came to realisation that I earn my own money and therefore can buy things that make me happy. I'm also getting back into crafting. I really enjoyed making things when I was younger but as I got older I think I lost some of that joy due to wanting everything to be perfect first time and if I couldn't do that then I wouldn't do it at all. I'm trying to reprogram my mind on this because the fun actually comes from just doing. Plus you never get better if you don't practice!
This channel is somewhere for me to show off all my lovely dolls, cool miniatures and a place that gives me reason to craft again.
Well I was collecting foodie mini brands I got them from target they stopped selling them. I only got half of my collection. IDK I should I try another mini brands?
Ken's head seems to be pushed down onto his neck a little too far, which can widen the face/chin area. The Ken in the picture you shared seems to have a longer neck. I almost wonder if your one was put on the wrong body in error, especially since the skin tones seem to differ. I love the plants!!
True it could be the wrong body, or possibly his head has got a little discoloured for some reason. I'll see if I can pull his head up a little so it's less round. Miniverse does do cute plants!
Lololol I love that you use a tiny swiss army. I've got a handful myself. I went to a stadium once for a hockey game and they checked my bag and keys and I had to toss my swiss army off my keys or take it back to my car very far away. I opted to toss the poor thing. Freaking handy little buggars.
They are so useful, I have several too! Sad that you had to lose one of yours, I'd have been the same as you and not even thought about the one I've got in my bag. It's just part of the useful things I have in there, like a pen and a mini tape measure and tissues etc.
@@NixiesToybox lol, I knew what they were before you showed most of them. I was like ... I know those scissors... Lol. And yeah, I'm not into sports so my family went once and I had no idea they had metal detectors for stuff. crazy American, eh. Haha. I'm not quite as handy as you! But I do keep weird things in my car like cat food, live animal traps, etc. (I'm a cat rescuer, lol). A tape measure is a good idea!
Great job on the tent! It looks so good! I love the galaxy/space print. 😊 Also, I'm wondering if that could maybe be a lid stuck to the side of the popcorn bucket?
To be honest, when I was editing I was wondering why I didn't say sleeping bag as blanket sounded wrong when listening back. I guess blanket just got stuck in my head when filming lol!
@@lisakellett577 Maybe some people do which is why I was automatically saying it. I guess when I edited I noticed what I was saying and a blanket tends to be something that covers you and a sleeping bag is something you can get in to, which is what that thing was. So maybe just me being odd, but possibly we do use both here!
I think it looks very nice (although I must admit I did like the spray paint colour 🤭). If you are taking things apart and it's glued, warming it up with a hairdryer helps the glue come apart 😊
The spray colour was a far more subtle pink, I think if I was trying for a classier pink kitchen it would be perfect. I just wanted a bit more in your face pink lol! Thanks for the glue tip, I'll remember that for future ☺

La robe tartan est très belle, et je suis bien d'accord avec vous au sujet des velcro, sur ces tissus c'est une catastrophe oo" Je craque sur cette ravissante patineuse (je résiste), son visage est tout frais, c'est une très belle poupée ^^ J'aime bien la robe qui fait honneur à votre drapeau, elle va très bien à Ashley, qui est toute pimpante avec, c'est un bel achat. La forme des manches de l'autre robe me rappelle les robes des vieux films des années 40 environ, il lui faut l'assortir avec un chapeau à plumes, j'aime beaucoup, la mode de cette époque était fabuleuse =) Merci pour ces nouveautés, bonne fin de semaine, amusez vous bien, et prenez soin de vous ☺
Hi Elhinor, That doll had my favourite face of the 5 holiday Barbies this year and I really liked her hair colour. The dress is quite pretty and it actually fitted ok on a made to move. I have the 2022 holiday Barbie and I found that one was a little tight on a m2m body. These shoes however were falling off, they are a bit too open at the back, maybe I should use the 2022 shoes as they're red too. The skater is cute, I have a fondness for petite dolls, there's just something so sweet and delicate about them. I couldn't resist that flag dress, I just felt it could be useful if my dolls needed to celebrate any British events. I felt it did work well with Ashley, I thought it would suit her blue eyes. Your right the other dress does have that classic style feel to it! I'll be on the lookout for matching hats! I hope you have a really lovely weekend! Enjoy yourself! ☺
Bonjour Nixie =) J'adore les divers ustensiles pour la salle de bains, tout est très mignons ^^ J'aime particulièrement les jarres, avec de grosses perles qui pourraient simuler des bombes à bain, ça serait parfait (ceci dit, on pourrait aussi les utiliser dans la cuisine) =) Les luffas sont vraiment bien, que ce soit la rose, ou la jaune ! Et les bols ! Pour la cuisine, comme Tupperware, c'est idéal =) Merci pour l'expérimentation, les dosages ne semblent pas suffisamment bien précisé, c'est dommage, mais c'était fun à regarder ^^ Je file regarder la dernière vidéo, il fait un peu "meilleur" la nuit ^^ Bonne journée, prenez soin de vous ☺
Hi Elhinor, Yes I think I liked the all accessories better than the spa products themselves. The products won't last forever but at least I can keep and use all the other bits for my dolls. The bowls would be a great size for kitchen mixing bowls! Yes I don't think I was meant to use all the scent for the scrub but it didn't specifically say how much to use. She's the 55th Anniversary Christie Doll head on the body of wheelchair Barbie Fashionista 166. It's not a perfect match but it's close. She is gorgeous though.
Dinty Moore is definitely American, never was a favorite of mine. I think i remember the pineapple NOT having any type of information on it, no food values or information or warnings
Watching back the things I could have done differently: I think for the soap pressing it into the cutter was a bad idea and it caused it to stick in there more. For the bath bombs I’m wondering if I should have squished more of the powder in the moulds, possibly they would have been less fragile that way. Update - Smyths do now have the spa capsules back in stock!
