I didn't know one can "transition". I came to youtube searching for ways to make my short hair look slik and not too boyish because I am about to do the big chop, I have decided I am done with my relaxed hair. my hair has been breaking and falling off for months now and I honestly am tired of crying whenever I have to sweep my hair after combing it so I decided to go natural. The plan was to cut my hair after my graduation because i was planning on relaxing it and styling it for the big day, but I think ill just do wash and not apply any chemicals. Coming here was honestly a manna from heaven. I've written down all the tips, I'm so relieved that I don't have to do the "big chop", it was giving me anxiety, LOL!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. you've earned yourself a new subscriber
What should I do on a in 6 months no chemicals which was an s-curl how long do I have to wait before I can go to a beautician to have heat applied and blow dried out
Omg!! This just happened to me today that’s why I’m here I had relaxed hair and curls but the curls was only my new growth the natural hair and the relaxed was the bottom part the dye and I went to the salon 8 weeks ago and gotten the relaxed hair cut off and today I finally washed my hair because I was tired of it be straighten in the back still from when it got done and the front was curly so I washed it today 20 minutes ago and when I went to the mirror my hair is fully curly and an Afro now and I am in shocked!!
Really liked your honesty about the pains of transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. It's all about patience. I feel so empowered as I'm also embarking on my journey back to natural hair.
