In 1982 we had a game show called “Fantasy”, an Aldo Nova top 40 song called “Fantasy”, and a one hour prime time drama show called “Fantasy Island”. I guess that year was a fantasy.
Appears by side-by-side comparisons, the tone accompanying the color bars was 404 Hz (when you figure this was recorded at 29.97 fps, but since it was played back at 30 fps it comes across as 404.4 Hz).
John parr the guest singer in solid gold countdown 85 sings number 40 songs st elmo's fire from motion picture soundtrack st elmo's fire. Host: Dionne warwick solid gold.
After Marilyn McCoo left, it was downhill from there. I never liked Dionne. Too stiff and fake. And I HATE the remix of the theme song. Ugh. Loved the 1984 rock version - that was the best of all the versions. Great to see this though for all the great music of the time.

Looks like WTNH aired Perry Mason reruns, and based on the closing credits, the episode was the series finale "The Case of the Final Fade Out" with Dick Clark among the guest stars. Also featured as a judge...Earle Stanley Gardner. the creator of the character. Also, I think 'TNH faded out before the Viacom V of Doom logo as Viacom distributed Perry Mason to stations for syndication.

WTNH got Perry Mason in the syndication package. The station with the Syndicated package Rights doesn’t necessarily need to be the affiliate the show originally aired on.
@@ntsecretsThank you for uploading this special "Solid Gold" episode. Is this from your personal videocassette collection that you videotaped? Have you any more episodes of "Solid Gold" that could be uploaded on your RU-vid channel? I am a longtime fan of the series, but missed some episodes, this one included. This is the only RU-vid channel that has this particular episode. The Exxon commercial with the leaping tiger I recall from that era. That is a treat as well.
@@ntsecretsI know that you wrote that it is not from WPIX 11 New York, but when I shared it to Facebook Messenger, it shows WPIX 11 on the screen. I live in the Los Angeles region on the West Coast, so I am not as familiar with the East Coast television stations and have not ever had cable or satellite television as well.
6:00 Parkay Margarine Commercial with Parley Baer This commercial for a present margarine brand starring actor Parley Baer back in 1979. First, the bowl said "butter", then he gives the same product fine details. And then, the bowl said "butter" again and does it occasionally until he tasted it. And then he said "butter" right before the bowl says "Parkay."
