You get a service manual with wiring diagrams and remove all the unused circuits. If you have not done this before, be very careful. Many circuits are daisy chained together.
So, are you using the barrel jack that came with the kit? I see it wired up in the photo of the board. How did you implement the iec jack from the power supply? I would like to use one for mine. I'm having issues....
+terriblecj I used the barrel jack in the kit. The terminals that are soldered have shrink tubing on them. All of the 120v to 12v adapter items are inside the housing. I used soldered and slip on female spades to go from the rear of the power supplies internal terminals to plug on to the male plug on the 12v adapter. One side of the power supply external cord receptacle is running direct to the 12v adapter and the other side is the switched side that is on the rear of the power supply case. The view at 1.26 is the area I'm referring to except it's all on the inside of the case. Hope this helps. :)
