Very nice video as always, and well done for getting up that early flight hahaha! I’m going to Faro later this year, sadly not from Teesside, the flights end in the week we are going, not to mention my family have already told me they won’t do those early flight times, we’re flying Ryanair and easyJet from Manchester but oh well 👌
It was definitely early but it was so much cheaper than the day time Jet2 or afternoon ryanair times to Teesside and Newcastle! I flew EasyJet from Manchester this year and loved it so you will be fine. Were thinking about returning in October so if we do we will come back to Newcastle or LBA like we did going out at Easter as we went before Teesside flights started, they started Sunday we went Friday .
It's a shame it was so wet as Manchester isn't my local so I don't travel through there very often and would have liked to see more of the aircrafts. There is a landing video back at Manchester which is in better conditions.

This was GXN, so yes! Very turbulent with a few screams coming through the clouds, it makes the speed up version in the trip report which is really shaky because of it. Thank you! Not a frequent user of the Metro as I am from the bottom end of the North East. I do love it though. Will be using it to get to Newcastle Airport soon as summer shows its self!
I recently took a train from Newcastle to Whitby and after the main coastal journey, I changed seats to be ready to see the river Esk as the train pulled in at Whitby. Unknown to me at the time, the train pulls in to Battersby as normal, but leaves in reverse. By this time, the train was too full so I couldn't change seats. I'll know for next time

The 2 car class 158816 used to be used in the southwest of England 🏴 was previously used for WE - Wessex Trains 🚊 Alphaline. The operator altered to FGW - First Great Western on Saturday 1st April 2006. Stayed in the southwest of England 🏴 until around perhaps 🤔 2006 or 2007. It went to NT - Northern Rail in one ☝️ of these years were 2006 or 2007 and was repainted into the original NT - Northern Rail livery. Now in its second Northern Rail livery. Other of the 2 car class 158s went from FGW - First Great Western to NT - Northern Rail were 158815/817/855/859-861/867-872. Also NT - Northern Rail had class 158s cascaded from EMT -East Midlands Trains 🚊. East Midlands Trains 🚆 is now called EMR - East Midlands Railway 🚃 since August 2019. FGW - First Great Western is now called Great Western Railway 🚃 since September 2015. Class 158s are very good 👍 trains 🚆. The seats 💺💺💺💺💺💺 on Northern Rail are comfortable. Conveys toilets 🚽 🚽 🚻 . Class 158s are founded to be in England 🏴, Wales 🏴 and finally Scotland 🏴. Very successful trains 🚆. Better than the crappy 💩 142 pacer trains 🚊. 👍👍👍👍

Yep it was actually. Never expected it to be as busy as it was but the 3/3a is an hourly service (so one every 30 mins as the 3a is only slightly different) but lots of old folk on 😎
