Logan, Reece and Jason sharing what we do with our cars.
Stage 0 is defined as: the state of which all electrical and mechanical components of your car’s drivetrain are in reliable, working order. That pretty much sums up how we (a Dad and his 2 sons) approach our hobby which is generally cars from the 70's-90's. Our goal is to get our cars to a state where they can be driven and enjoyed without worry.
You won't see any crazy builds, we won't be dragging anything out of a field to see if we can get it to run. We just really love cars and thought we should actually start sharing our hobby with others.
Expect to see Jason (Dad) buying random cars from the 70's-90's and getting them to 'Stage 0'. You'll likely see Logan do videos about (but not limited to) the work he's doing on his MK3 Supra. And Reece will share his endless knowledge about cars from the 70's-90's with test drives and sightings.
Holley now makes a metal replacement tank for the Lil Reds. Made for their sniper system but should work for other setups. Imes with new straps. About $350.00.
Cool! I have an old dodge 318 LA. I think the original ignition is toast. It would breakup at higher rpm. Now it doesnt work at all. Which distributor do you recommend?
They’re called sawblade rims. You can get directional ones so they point the same direction on both sides. If you look at these, they point forward on one side and back on the other. Our Cougar has directional sawblades.
Not sure if you still have it. It's AOD you don't have to shift in out it's automatic. I thought mine was bucking also but my uncle lifetime Mercury owner said it's upshifting and down shifting when you press the gas take your foot off do it it again. It's not good to do that and run it on super unleaded you will get much better performance
I've had 4 of those in that body and they were the best riding cars. The Grand Marquis was a inch longer than the brother car crown Victoria's. Grand Marquis was a step up from the crown Vic joke was always it was a poor man's Lincoln lol. Those cars in good condition low mileage are going for big money now. Everyone i paid for was never less than $5,000 that was mid 90s lol
Setting up the hei module outside the box( the distributors).Very cool.I just brought and msd 8401 ,hei distributor coil in cap delete .Where i purchased an external oil filled 12 volt coil to replace the one in the distributor cap.For coil heat reasons that gradually destroy the epoxy filled hei coil( layer shorting) in cap which slowly destroys the hei ignition module in distributor i hear.Car runs better than it did in a long time.Had to touch the hood of car to see if engine was still running. What does that tell you.Any way nice modifications, awsome idea and video.
25:15 @@stage0garageyou could source E58 parts ( Little Red Express, 360 Police cam and Thermoquad ) to perk it up a bit.The car has a taxicab vibe to it, but it is so incredibly, unbelievably straight......!!!😢!
Hey buddy, didn't see you much at powertour besides when we meet up Saturday in Wisconsin. How'd your truck perform? Ryan (Black Mustang GT Convertible)
@@ryansgarageWI Hello! I did do a HRPT video that’s not too long and includes some of the Beloit group footage. It did good only a couple small issues but all bugs (hopefully) worked out.
So after seeing that cylinder wall that's rust pitting from some time back so the 360 makes a lot of sense like we talked about. The piston is water corrosion too. That explains why they took it apart and put it back together lol. Guess is they found that and said oh hell no.😂 loved the hood latch remarks and ambulance timing was spot on😂
@@Roosters_Restos I think I was secretly happy because I kind of wanted an excuse to build another engine. And (spoiler alert) the 360 I got for a great price so…
I bought a white 4 door 1970 for $150. It had the 318 and ran great ! I would put the correct year dog dish hubcaps on it and fill those seams on the roof , roll some black bed liner over the top and it will look like a new roof ! Lol
@@jm6696 oh stay tuned…it doesn’t get better. But it is a 54 year old car from the south so I’d expect a pretty baked interior. At least it’s made it this far.
@@jm6696 why? It's a survivor, it stood the test of time. Not like some dolled up car that never hits the road, those are boring, in my opinion obviously.
@@stage0garage sorry, i like the 4 doors better, especially when it has no door pillars. I just find 2 doors are not proportional whereas 4 doors are. Just my opinion obviously! I think 4 doors will become extremely desirable in the near future. Look what is happening with wagons!

I love this generation of Fury a lot! One day I'd like to get one, optimally a Sport Fury GT but I also like these 4 doors a lot. The olive green and dog dish hubcaps are chef's kiss imo. I'm really looking forward to more vids on this car!
I drive a 21 foot Winnebago brave every summer. It has the d300 chassis with the 440-3. I have a denso starter, power master alternator with a 10ga wire from it to the battery. My ignition is all stock Mopar except the coil, that's pextronics. My fuel system is a mechanical Cater, 3 filters lines are wrapped with special fuel line wrapped. 850 Thermo quad rebuild by me. It runs like a dream. And the starter is a modern denso from newer Mopar.
I really hate to see someone ruin a classic like this, you could have taken any dodge step side and made a clone the way you liked it but no you instead took a limited production classic and ruined it.
Settle down there. I worked with what I had. Perhaps you have unlimited budget but it was going to be ‘ruined’ the minute I put that cab on. Beyond that you know it’s just paint right and can be repainted? Also…watch my short video about “My Plans” for my two stepsides.
Thanks for the video. I had a black 2 door slant six. I think i recall it was a manual with a big stick 4 speed. Sold it for more than i bought it for.
Hey! I've been watching your reatta videos. I'm able to get an 88' for about $500. It's been sitting for 4 years and nobody has tried to start it since. I'm going to look at it this weekend, what are some things I should look for? Is it worth the 500? Thanks
The transverse torsion bar setup is designed to supply a good amount of "deflection". That is when the wheel hits a bump and is pushed rearward, as the speaker was mentioning. It's one of the most effective means of neutralizing Noise Vibration & Harshness. When new, these cars were advertised as having near full-sized car ride quality, and that's when a full sized Chrysler had a 124'' wheelbase. This 2 door Aspen is on a 108" wheelbase, the four doors were 112.5''.
